Why do I feel like I'm out of my crush's league?

Is it at least normal to feel this way? Or am I just hard on myself? I feel like my crush would never go for me. I get a bad vibe around him too. He can talk to any girl just fine except me. He's never quiet but around me he always is and I have to initiate everything and I feel like I'm just annoying ugh. It wasn't even like that at first, it just happened out of nowhere where he seemed disinterested in me. I also catch him staring at me a lot and looking away really fast when I notice. It confuses me and I don't know why he would stare at me like that a lot and not talk to me or be himself around me. Most of the time he does this is when I'm with other guys too if that means anything. I almost feel as if even he knows I'm not good enough for him. No I'm not expecting answers like "no you're not out of his league" and "no you're not too good for him, just have more confidence" I'm seeking advice on how react to this and if I should do anything or just do nothing if he's clearly not interested. Well my opinion is that the guy is interested in you. You are saying when he is around you that he acts completely different. Generally that is a sign that he is into you. To me he sounds shy and doesn't
know how to act around you. I think if he thought
you werent good enough for him, I doubt he would pay any attention to you. There are a couple things
you could do. One is you could hang out with him
and try to make things more comfortable so maybe
he'll open up. You could try to talk to some people to know him. I don't think that you are out of his league, I don't think your wrong in thinking that. Right now I like a guy and he can talk to anyone and he's so cool and I'm not sure why he would even want to be friends with me. Don't get me wrong I think I'm a fun person to be around, but I'm kinda shy and it takes me a little while to warm up to someone. I figured out with my friend that he acts all confident with everyone, but in a way it's s front. He acts pretty different when he is around me. If I were you try to make opportunities to hang out with this guy or you could even ask him out on a date. Good luck!

ALMOST exactly the same thing is happening between me and the guy I like. So relieving to see its a common problem! Except my problem is that he looks like a Calvin Klien model with a jawline as sharp as Times New Roman, whereas I look like Abraham Lilncoln... But a girl.
But my advice is the same as your friends - have more confidence! Get his number somehow, if you haven't already, and just go for it and ask if you want to hang out.

Ladies, you are putting yourselves down with this 'out of my league' talk. If he isn't comfortable around you but is fine with everyone else then he thinks he is out of your league and thinks you might reject him.

I tend to overthink these things. People think he likes me though but there is no way of knowing for sure.

Here are your answers,

1. Looks at you a lot - easiest way to tell a guy likes you
2. Hardly talks to you - doesn't know you well enough and therefore acts standoffish
3. Looks away - he does this because you don't smile/act friendly and therefore looks away to avoid creeping you out

The simplest way of looking at this is that he thinks he is not good enough for you or that you don't like him so unless you smile/act friendly to him like you do around your guy friends he will keep his distance.

Next time you see him smile, say his name like you are happy to see him and he'll do the rest.
