X-ray vision... imagine someone lets a balloon explode besides your ear and you have magnified hearing :-(
With all these terrorist threats in Europe, with X-ray vision I could see if the contents of "his bag" were harmless or not :D

  I would probably also never have thought of it but... Belgium is in trouble in terms of terrosist threats. There seems to be an immediate risk :-(
  All public places are guarded by soldiers or police and every day you hear about suspicious people who have been arrested or weapons that have been found.
  We can only hope they can do enough harm to those organisations to prevent them from being able to commit crime in the short term. And than, totally roll them up in the medium term :D

  So true! Every country is at risk , no one is safe. Hopefully, one day there willl be a solution to preventing such atrocities. In the meantime , I guess we all just have to remain vigilant and cling onto " hope".

I'd go with the hearing. There are just way too many people out there that I do not need to see naked. Unless the vision came with an off switch, then maybe.

X-ray vision wouldn't be helpful because in order to work you need an X-ray source on the other side of what you're imaging.
