But that has ZERO to do with being "selected"... unless you're talking about window dressing "cheerleaders" ... ( Dallas Cowboys, etc)... which are usually professional dancers and beauty Queens

I'm not saying that beauty is the only requirement because I know it requires physical agility, stamina, and strength, but I think physical attractiveness is one of the minimal requirements for most people selecting cheerleaders.

That's a by product not a requirement. and yes I have tbh. An unfortunate looKing girl with level 8 tumbling skills would get selected over the prom queen that can only do a back handspring. All day. Every day.

But it just so happens that a lot of cute girls choose that sport. It has NOTHING (didI say NOTHING?) to do with being picked by a coach to make a squad.

It's because cheer leaders are usually quite athletic and toned, take good care of themselves, are super happy when cheering, they usually wear outfits that we find sexy, and we love that many cheer moves give us a good look up her skirt ;).
