Well the asexuality movement is trying to bring awareness to the concept. This may lead to really radical and obnoxious things such as bringing it up. Honestly, straight people bring up sexuality the most in my opinion. And also how is a vegan supposed to like tell you they won't eat that, lol

I know an asexual personally, but I have known her for 11 years so when she told me I wasn't too shocked. She generally keeps it to herself unless people ask her why she never dates.

I've honestly never had an asexual or vegan tell me that they are asexual/vegan unless the topic was brought up. It's usually straight people who bring up sexual orientation

Lol. Every corporate gym I've gone to vegans won't stfu about how much better their life is. I actually trained a dude that got so triggered to the point of deactivating his membership when I explained to him why vegan isn't optimal for building muscle. I mean, to be fair, people automatically assume that everyone is sexual so someone stating they're asexual probably saves a lot of trouble for themselves. I only ever see it on profiles though or when the topic of sex comes up in convo. Otherwise, people rarely mention it in my experience.
