lol my first two thoughts were "Why are there metal things in their gums I'm mildly concerned" and then upon seeing the last picture, "Wait wouldn't that get in the way of kissing?"

Huh, I've never heard of these kinda peircings before... they look kinda cool and cute, but they're not for me. I feel like it would get in the way of like stuffing my face or something, and nothin will come between me and my food ;P

The tiny flap of skin they are attached to seems so delicate and thin that my first ear would be ripping. I feel like too many situations would be uncomfortable, like making out, a cold windy day, etc - all I can think is mouth/germs/piercings don't belong. And I'm not all against piercings. This one to me just doesn't do it for me.

It's the same as tongue piercings and any other mouth piercing which gets limescale on it, bacteria and over time it wears your teeth down and can cause crack etc. Also if you have a condition with your heart you're not recommended to get oral piercings because again the bacteria can cause health complications and even death. I love piercings, I've had 9 but I wouldn't risk my mouth.

I know someone who does piercings as long as you brush your teeth and clean the area... you should be fine.

You will still end up with issues down the line. All piercings call issues at some stage. Your mouth you do what you want but it's not good for your teeth.

Some piercings it's just hard not to think painful. And some... I don't like ones that look like they could get ripped out super easily. I know everyone likes to do something different, but just get snakebites and be done with it, lol.

What's your face shape? Including chin? That would hint whether a center line piercing would be good or bad.

I have my lower lip pierced (right side) and I like it. I was thinking of getting my upper lip pierced (left side) as well.
