Girls: for those of you who smoke or smoke even occasionally when you drink, do you refrain from smoking on a first date? Or do you not care because if he likes you he likes you? Have you ever been dumped because a guy didn't know you smoked and found out after first dating?

I have always enjoyed the site of a woman smoking; smoking fetish. At first, early days, when I was younger I'd avoid the topic a bit because I was a little embarrased by it. Now days I make it a point to let the lady that I'm taking out know that if she smokes that I'm okay with it and even though I don't smoke I find it sexy. It's actually caused a lot of conversation when they find this out. There's nothing that she feels she has to keep secret and is more comfortable on our dates becasue she knows where I stand on the topic. Look, we all know that its unhealthy to smoke. The media has made a great point at that. However there are things in life that we all take part in that are unhealthy for us. I don't like the women who are heavy smokers, but there is something erotic about a woman who is a light smoker or an occasional smoker. Jus sayin. Peace

smoking can be a big issue in a relationship, and research shows that if your partner doesn't smoke and isn't concerened about your smoking, perhaps only subconciously, he may not be in for a long term relationship, but then again, what guy is!?! :P

there are always the questions about hobbies, but knowing about drugs and smoking can stop from investing time in some who just isn't a match.

Well I smoke and have smoked on a first date. What is the point of hiding it, plus a real smoker can't hold out for a couple of hours I know I can't. If my date thought it was disgusting or was put off then all the better for us both not to waste time over such a miniscule thing. Whether it is smoking or anything else I don't think its a good idea to hide who you are (unless on a holiday lol)
