Can a Sikh wear a turban in a christian church?

I'm getting married and my parents won't be able to attend my wedding. My soon to be father-in-law wears a turban because he is Sikh. He is going to walk me down the aisle, but I know it is usually considered inappropriate to cover your head in a church, but could this be an exception?

The only way to know is to ask the church authorities.

Some will say it's OK and some won't.

A friend of mine told me earlier this month about how a Sikh guy had wanted to look around a Spanish cathedral, and they initially wanted him to take it off, but when this guy explained it was a religious obligation for him to wear it, they were OK about it.

Of course! I am not a Christian, but they should respect other religions and customs just as much as they would want the same respect from others for theirs.

Yes, of course they can wear it but make sure your dress designer blends the colours of turban and outfit.
