How long do tattoos take to heal?

I'm 15 years old and have self harmed (cutting) a few months ago. i'm going to get a tattoo on my left forearm to cover it and i want to know how long it will take to heal. i play volleyball so I need to know how long i will be off for so i can schedule accordingly. Please just tell me the amount of time. Don't say that I'm too young to get a tattoo because i will not change my mind. i know the risks and what could go wrong, i don't need to be reminded. Also please don't shame me about self harm I've done enough shaming myself. My parents know about my self harm and support me on my decision on getting at tattoo, don't tell me not to do it.

They heal according to they depth of the cut and same goes for the fading of scars. But if the cut was too deep, the scar is permanent.

i wanted to ask somebody who actually has a tattoo on the forearm because when i googled it said 2weeks anywhere. you don't have to reply if you can't answer the question

Maybe Google was right? I'm almost certain that the answers you read there were also written by people with tattoos
