What age does a woman's looks start to deteriorate?

I was having a convo with someone and we were saying how a lot of men get more and more attractive as they get older.
They said that a woman is at the peak of her beauty at age 18. but I disagree. I've seen plenty of women look better in their 20's than they did at 18.

Most men do not get more attractive with age. The only ones who do are very attractive to begin with, take good care of themselves, and are usually wealthy. Most men get fat, bald, and crabby by their 40s. These dudes who think their ass is gonna age like George Clooney are fools.
As for women, it depends mostly on if they gain weight or stop caring about their looks, too. Most of the decline you see before 40ish has to do with becoming mothers and no longer trying as hard to maintain their looks. After 40, decline is inevitable, unfortunately, not that there aren't beautiful women in their 40s. I'm not trying to bash moms or say that women SHOULD prioritize their looks, but I'm saying what objectively makes a woman less attractive.
The main difference between men and women in this regard is that many 16-18 yr old girls look like women, while not many guys look like men at this age. But I think both usually peak somewhere between 20-35 in terms of looks.
Tl;dr: The saying that "men age like wine, women age like milk" is b. s. Most men age like milk too, just the hot ones sometimes age like wine.

As for looking better at 18 or 20s... it depends. Most women don't naturally look that different from 18-30, it has mostly to do with weight, skin, hair, and style. The women I see who gained weight look worse at 25 than 18, but those whose skin cleared up or who got better hair or clothing styles look better.

Really depends on the women. I've seen some women in 40s who look more than they did in their 20s. Some girls look their best in their teenage years. Some look best in their late 20s. Etc

About thirty. Youth and beauty are a woman's primary attraction, so when that starts to go away their value begins to diminish from an attraction stand point. All people of all ages and genders admire youth and beauty - what spawns beauty pageants.
So about thirty she is going to start having trouble competing with a 20yo on youth and beauty. By forty things are starting to sag and wrinkle.

And yes, the guys peak out around 25-38. A rich handsome 40yo guy can pretty much pull women from 20 to 60 - the full range of ages for all women.

So, the moral of the story is, don't squander your youth. Find a nice guy and settle down, start a family. Do this by 30 years old. After that it gets increasingly difficult and sometimes even impossible.

It really depends on the girl and on the eye of the beholder. Some people grow into their looks later. Others start out fresh faced and beautiful and age like shit. There is no fixed formula, it comes down to genetics and lifestyle. If you drink alcohol like a fish, smoke 50 a day and do meth then you will likely look 60 when you're 30.

I've seen woman on their 40's that looks way better than someone half their age. How? eat healthy, exercise basically you you take good care of your health than you will always look young. It's a fact.

it depends on the woman. we start noticeably aging when we start losing elasticity in our skin. that mostly depends on genetics and behavior (smoking or not, what we eat, exposure to the skin, etc)

in my opinion peak is at 20, but most girls are still attractive until they hit like 30 or so.

I think that most women look best before 35 years after that age it goes pretty fast downward. But when you get older, looks get less important
