Studio Apartments. Yay or Nay?

What do you think of studio apartments? For those who have lived in or currently live in one, so you like it? Would you prefer it over a one bedroom apartment? One of my new colleagues that interns at the new place I work at says he lives in a studio and he loves is. Another colleague says he prefers a one bedroom. ☺️

I live in a studio apartment right now, same as the majority of my friends. One bedroom apartments tend to be too expensive for students and fresh graduates. It's either a studio apartment or a shared flat, living with roommates. A studio apartment needs to be a good layout to work, and without an alcove it usually doesn't. But I love my apartment and having a big balcony helps a lot. Every studio apartment I've visited has been great, though.

I prefer a one bedroom but I have had a studio in Long Beach and I loved it! No roommates and sometimes you get a good deal

not for me but i'm just finicky. i can't stand the idea of sleeping in the same place i cook my food or kitchen trash only due to the odor... but again that's just one of those minor ocd things about me

i'd definitely prefer a separate bedroom

I prefer a one bedroom apartment, but I lived in a studio for close to a year and I loved it. I was single and living in a great area, I didn't need more than a studio.

I like how they're cut out , something i would like.

Now i miss my studio. Everything is close by and convenient. but I also had an upper level that was where I had my bed. it was a good middle ground

Overpriced. A waste of $$$. Just get a 2-bedroom!

Where do u live that a studio apartment costs more than a 2 bedroom?

A studio usually costs less than a ONE bedroom in the same area

Where I live, studios are ridiculously high-priced, even in comparison to a 2-bed

hmm that's abnormal in most parts in California over here, a studio cost less than a 1bed apt most of the time, at most equal
