Ok so my kid has autism and ADHD and can be a little rowdy at times.
I've had a bad experience with a neighbor who lived directly above me who effected my sleep and quality of life.
Should I go with a first floor apartment or second floor apartment?
I've been looking into townhomes that fits into my budget however they're really far in areas I'm fond of, I also do not drive.

Get a HOUSE! I Always gone for a HOUSE, Nothing compares with a House, that where i can...
Listen to music, Have a BBQ in the garden, Children can play ball and run around ALL DAY, apartments are just "luxury jails"... If music is too loud your neighbours start banging in the walls, if your child screams, plays, listen to music or games "too loud" again they start banging, if you cook something and they don't like the smell, again they will start banging... and you'll feel like a Prison Guard always SHOUTING at your child to Quiet down because One of the neighbours start Banging in the wall... So Nope... No Apartment (jail) for me... Thank You!
never get a ground floor apartment. They are easier to break into and peek into.
