Is 5'0 feet tall really that short?

Im 5'0 feet tall and I always hear remarks about my height. Like how small I am or how short I am and the typical cliche stuff. Im the tallest female in my family. My mom is 4'11 , my aunts are 4'10, and my grandma is 4'9. When my friends see us together they'll be shocked to know Im not as short them.

No, it isn't that short but still it is a little short. Nothing wrong with it in any way and definitely not unattractive in any way. It would/should be no reason to expect any mean remarks but if I were flirting with you I'm sure I'd say something about it, something like "you are so tiny and adorable, I could just tuck you in my pocket and take you home"

I could see people make playful comments in a nice way but it is definitely nothing that is extreme.

Do you get playful comments or are people mean to you about it?

5'5"-5'3" is probably pretty average so that is just barely below that.

I'm 5'2.5", not the tallest but taller than most females. In fact people in our country are short anyway most females are only 5 feet so in that sense, I'm fortunately a good height. Any height above 5'4" for a girl here is too tall.

So don't worry! Besides lotsa guys are into short girls here so it's actually a good thing!

I'm 5ft even as well. It is considered pretty short. My cousin who is 5'8 prefers if I wear heels when we go out so she doesn't feel so tall. Lol. Guys like short girls. The only problem I have with it is that it's hard to find jeans or long dresses that are not too long on me. I get comments all the time on how short I am. Lol

It’s definitely short, but I love the shorties, 5ft is the perfect height for me. I’ve been with a 4’10 girl and I honestly don’t know of I could go much shorter than that but it’s not at all due to attraction, it would just be the 14” height difference lol (16” with my boots on). The comments are just a lazy and obnoxious way to flirt with you and poke fun at you. If I sense you are sensitive about it I won’t comment. But usually I am pointing it out because I think it’s hot. Just like when I’m with a short woman and she comments on me being tall, relative to her.

I am 5 foot as well. I make fun of myself because then people tend not to. I do get mad, because I can't do a lot of things without a ladder and I'm thick as well. Shopping makes me want to cry, I get so mad.
