the days went renting a game at blockbuster was in lol
i never bought it... but begged for parents to rent it all the time.. eventually bought it hahah
loved this at the arcades too beside street fighter 2 😛... it was 25 cents for a game lol

i really liked liu lang.. was essy to use and subzero cause well ya how cool was that.. and obviously scorpion
later got into johnny cage and Raiden

ultimate original is subzero though 💨❄️

@Toad-1 When I first started, it was typically Sub-Zero and Raiden. Haven't really played MK1 on a regular basis, guess I'm gonna have to get back to it when I'm done replaying and completing MK2 on Very Hard with the entire playable roster first.

The first time I beat Shang Tsung was with Kano, but Sub Zero was my man. He’s still my favorite. I play my boyfriend on my old Sega, and he beats me every time, except when I use Sub Zero. Then I give his character the spine rip fatality.

Scorpion.

Well, REALLY it was Reptile, but he was playable in MKII (which is the only Mortal Kombat game I actually ever played). Of the seven originals, definitely Scorpion. I could do the "GET OVER HEEERE!" pretty well.

Scorpion all the time, especially in MKII.

Looking at the above poll, I feel bad for Kano and Sonya. No votes yet. Guess that's why they were chained up in MKII.

When I was a kid, I always picked Liu Kang. Then I got this a few years ago, and because I love Sub-Zero so much now, I just started picking him in every game. Even MK X.

Liu Kang because I could to the back, back, down, down, A dragon changing head bite off for my fatality. I think that's the combination when you're about 2 steps away from finishing.

  That fatality was MKII. He did the cartwheel uppercut on the first one. The dragon was his best in the series, though.
