What is something that gives you "butterflies"?

There's many kinds.
There's the kind I get before public speaking or playing live or playing in a play, which are the worst. Feels like stomach is turning upside down.
Then there's the kind I get generally from my social anxiety disorder. Not as bad, but constant.. I get it from expecting anything social coming up and being in those situations.
Then there's the good kind.. when you're with someone you like, it's new and exciting and everything feels so hopeful. More of a gentle tickle, makes you smile..
Talking to a hot girl or someone I like gives me dragonflies. (cause I'm a dude)😎
lol did you make that up?
Yes I made that up.
Real bad boyz doh get butterflies. 😎😂
Real “bad boys” don’t refer to themselves as boys they’re men and bad men are in jail getting butterflies all the time
@BleepRawrsaurus_Rex thanks for bursting my bubble 😛😂
Just saying...
Thank you 😊
welcome :)
When I am falling for someone and the feeling is mutual. I get butterflies knowing someone loves me. The thought of them and I'll be seeing them again is giving me gas lol. Or before performing in front of a huge crowd/or a presentation at work/school. Or when I know I am going to get into trouble and be yelled at by my parents or the boss.
When I see a cute stranger in public. But I'll never see them again
why not?
I don't approach guys in public haha. I just glance
ah ok :)
Presentations.

Still, even after doing it for several years, just before I enter a stage about to give a speech, I get this knot in my stomach, almost starts to shiver and just gets extremely nervous! It only lasts from the time just before I enter and until I am on stage, have said my hello and does says something a little odd -it just happens, I don´t plan what or when - and people laughs or applauds a little, then I change to extreme focus, feels confident and can start my speech. From this moment, I am always told, I am like a fish in the water, feeling at home on stage, enjoying what I do and is great at interacting with the audience.
I remember something a long time ago; I think it was the sensation inside whenever I was around my ex-wife. Got all tinkly and excited... but it feels like so long a go, that it might just be a figment of imagination :-)
Bad ones: Crush-y ones.
Mostly because of this progression:
*has crush*
"Crap, not this feeling again"
*inadvertantly thinks about cuddling*
"Craaap... I wonder if she wants to date?"
*never gets a non-awkward opportunity to ask her out, she gets a boyfriend*
"Fuck"
Alternatively:
*gets a chance to ask her out*
Me: "Hey, so do you want to grab coffee on X day?"
Her: "Sorry, I'm busy then."
Me: "Ah, okay. Would another day work for you?"
Her: "I don't know"/"I'll think about it"
Me: "Alright, that's fine. Well, take care then!"
Internally: "Fuuuuck."

Enough of these interactions have occurred to where I hate the emotion. It gets in the way of being productive.

I get butterflies when my boyfriend touches my neck or tummy. I get shivers and butterflies in the best way.
Lust or crushing on a girl/date, rips my guts apart, I lose all appetite, etc...
... A horrible and yet amazingly addictive and amazingly awesome feeling! 😍
I've only ever got them a couple of times in my entire life. The most memorable time was when I fell in love with my ex. It lasted like three days.
Well for me it is true love, and training that gives me butterflies.

What gave me the biggest butterflies i got was back in 1984, first year of driving, I was stopped for speeding 79 in a 55 zone.
Good butterflies are a girl rubbing her fingers over me and whispering in my ears.
Bad ones come from the knowledge that a confrontation i can't escape will arise.
Hearing a preacher boldly preach God's flaming hot word. Love that. ❤
If it's good it's hoping for something new like a first date after being single for like 3 months. Bad butterflies are going into a meeting room doing a presentation for my company. Hoping you don't get fired lol.
