No-one's perfect. Not even us who've not been disfigured by burns etc.
Everyone has flaws/imperfections/insecurities and that's why you should learn... Love yourself!
If you can't love yourself now what chance does anyone have of loving you whether you have been disfigured or not?
You're still the same person inside aren't you not? You'd just look different that's all.
Try it, work on loving you and in time let's hope you don't get injured/disfigured/burnt in anyway but if it were to happen then at least you'd know:
1) You're strong on the inside to continue the love you have for yourself.
2) Those that love you... Still do x :-)
Thank you for MHO x On a serious note please don't experiment by injuring yourself to see how people would react OK?
Hope you find peace within yourself x :-)
Depends on the disfigurement for me. If I lost a whole leg or arm then I'd probably just shoot myself. Though I think I could handle a foot or hand.
If I got burned like that I'd probably live in the sewers and fight crime during the night and hunt pedophiles or something. Those kiddie diddlers would cower in fear of... MOLE-RAT MAN!
Missing a limp would be equal as disfigurement to me as well.
aging is not going to feel better to you. you will be just as horrified. its just you dont need to think of it atm. but when you wake up all wrinkled why would you like it any better than if it happened now. i think you should think of ways to be useful do you're not so obsessed with yourself. its a parasitic mindset. if you think becoming deformed means lifes over thats like saying as long as you feel pretty you're good to go. what do you contribute though?
That is a pretty unhealthy mindset to have. All of us have the a potential for physical deformity or disability from birth, accidents, injuries, or illnesses. It should make you appreciate the good health that you have now, not hope to end it all of that health ever fades. Your worth and beauty should come from within, not your appearances.

I'm with you. I grew into my skin looking the way it is. I want to die with my skin the way it is. Intact and normal. I'll grow old and it will wrinkle, but wrinkles are just a sign of an aging body. If I were unable to use my legs or see, I would be ready to end it all.
Exactly
I'll be dead before then
I used to feel that way. Now I have a child. As long as I’m not suffering horribly, I want to stay alive as long as I can to watch my child grow up. But I understand where you are coming from. It would be devastating to be paralyzed or disfigured. If I didn’t have something like the love for my child to keep me going, I probably would end my life under those circumstances.
So you would be saved just for your suicide after some time?
That's absurd and not logical.
If you were saved you should keep on fighting for your life with this horrific world.
I would tell the doctors to already end it for me. Can a patient with severe disfigurement that doesn't want to continue a life like that tell doctors that?
Isn't there such a thing as euthanization?
I am saying that if person have potential to win this psychic battle he should do it. If he doesn't have guts to use that potential he should have big help from people and then if he just wants an easy way then I have no respect for such person although I will not force him to stay alive.
Where the mind lives, riches are waiting to be discovered. I've met burn victims. They hold life far more dearly than you do. I hope you'll never have to understand that.
If you value your looks above your life then sure it'd be logical. I wouldn't think that value judgement was logical though.
Wow. . . just wow. . .
If I felt that way I would post my feelings anonymously also.
Don't you dare give up woman! You've got to keep fighting the good fight. If you go down, go down swinging.
I honestly would care that much. I live inside my skin; as long as it's intact, and I have sensation, I don't really care. What I look like just isn't visible to me.
It depends what you dedicate your life to. If you can help people, why would you end your life? You have only sexual values for yourself?
I would not end it, as many things in life don't depend on looks.
its logical. some people view it differently. i'd probably try everything to make life better. but if I was old id just end it cuz there's no point
Nah there are lots of other things in life to enjoy that have nothing to do with looks
No because it's a sign of wuss-hood. Any person who would harm themselves is wrong.
no it is defiantly not logical
So you live for beauty.
Who wouldn't miss their old former looks after a horrible burn like that? It's one thing to lose your looks by natural aging but to lose it at a young age like that is devastating.
I would dress weird and say everything is a costume.
I would too, if I lost my dick in an accident
I would kill myself if I became blind or deaf.
Welp someone is crazy over there looks
Do it now
Logical
I would do the same
