Yes, it can happen.
My HS psychology teacher learned how to write with her left hand during her youthful years. Her reason for it: In case I get tired writing too much with my right hand.

Yeah of course. When i was 11 i broke my right arm and since i'm right handed i had to learn with my left. Anyone can wrote with tjsor opposite hand it's just whether it's neat or not x

You once had to learn how to write with your dominant hand too.

It is said that it's possible. And I know people who are ambidextrous after learning how to write or draw with the left hand (having the right hand dominant ).

I broke my right arm (which is my dominant one) in third grade and I could barely make a straight line with my left hand so I didn't write much. Turns out no writing assignments in third grade mean a damn thing and you could skip the whole year without missing much

My art teacher can draw with both hands, so I guess it would take years of practice to master it.
