It does, when one is drunk their true thoughts and feelings are exposed because they are not letting overbearing thoughts cloud their decisions and they don't feel as much of a need at the time to put on a mask. You become raw in a way, it is hard to describe but drunkenness reveals hidden truths, it is in itself a way of expression, no more fake smiles because who cares what they think, the smile either become real or it disappears completely during the intoxication.

It depends, but I think a drunk mind speaks what the heart wants to, wether it's real or not. If they want to be fine, and they're drunk, they'll act like they're fine, I'm pretty sure. A drunk mind speaks a drunk heart, but a drunk heart has only it's biggest wants in mind. The want is real, but the situation can misinterpret.
