My cousin says he knew a lot of guys that would get drunk and start crying and talking about their problems to everyone in sight. I remember I once found out a group of people were gossiping about me when one of the guys in the social circle got drunk and told me everything they were saying about me behind my back. Apparently they all hated me for using big words in my writing around them since we met at a writers club.

Yes, I do. Alcohol doesn't change someone's feelings, it just decreases their reluctance to make them public. Someone who spouts hateful opinions when drunk really feels that way.
