What does it mean when a guy invites you to his dorm room?

This guy that I like invited me to dorm room to "study." When I got there, his room was spotless. His bed was made and everything was in its place. I sat on the floor to do my hw and even though he had a chair, he said "I'm going to sit on the floor, too." I was not sure if he liked me, but could this be a sign that he does?

Ok, I bet he tidied up his room before you arrived to make good impressions. Sitting next to you on the floor indicates he wants to get close to you. Inviting a girl to your room and being by yourselves implies he wants to get very close to you. Just take it slow and get to know each other better before jumping into anything if you are in for a long-term relationship.

I think it's a very strong sign that he likes you and wants to get physically intimate with you. So, yeah, if you like him, why don't you tell him about the movie and ask him whether he likes the movie too? I think he will then ask you out if he likes you and wants to date you.

If he is shy, prepare to take things slow. Don't ask him out on a movie date, just let him know there's a movie on and you like to see it. Ask him whether he likes the movie too, might not be his thing after all. If he likes the movie too and he is free he will ask you out naturally. this way, you do not ask him out first and he can initiate it, it won't scare him away because you not putting pressure on him to ask you out. lol. We were studying. We are both very into our work, but in between studying we were talking about different things. We did this for about three hours and then we went to dinner together with two other people. But..what do you think that means though..him inviting me to his dorm...do guys do this with girls who they want to be more than friends with? or should I just back off?

You got a good sense of humor. Just wanted to tell you that first. :) But to answer your question, there's a very good chance he wants to have sex with you if he finds you attractive, but he's trying to be a gentlemen by not jumping you once you were in his dorm.

I think the only way a girl can tell a guy she doesn't want to have sex right now is to just tell him... but when and where to tell him is tricky. I'm thinking right before he tries to kiss you or starts running his hands between your legs...and I say that without sarcasm because I know it's not easy to just put that out there while you're studying.

Um... without having witness what happen, I can only think of a few reasons 1...he was stinky and didn't want you to smell his odor... 2...he knows you don't want to have sex with him right now, thus prefered to keep you at a distance for fear of losing self-control. I was in a similar situation with a girl once I wanted but she didn't want me, so I got really uncomfortable when she just reached out to embrace me. I didn't want her to do that again. So I'm just speculating here.

Interesting. Thank you for your quick responses. What happened was that we were in the library and there was one guy sitting in the same area of the library as us. I asked if I could hug him and he just blushed and smiled and then said.."I don't want to bother him"..What do you make of that? Does the same response still apply?

Okay. Maybe he's a bit shy is why he didn't want you hugging him, on top of those other possible speculations I mention. And I think what he meant by "I don't want to bother him" is not to draw distracting attention that might uncomfortably arouse people in the library, as he was probably insinuating that he feels sexual towards you or thinks you feel sexual towards him. If it was just my mother wanting a hug, okay. A pretty girl? I might want to take it further than that...

In a private setting, give it a try. But if he reaches down to place his hand on your butt, just giggle and gently lift up his hand back to your back if that's where it was originally. That's a good way to tell a guy you're not ready to have sex with him or "Hey, not so fast, cowboy."
