I don't believe so. Women in most western countries get way better treatment in current society. They literally have more rights the men. So how can it be called equality if one gets such better treatment than the other. It's actually pretty unfair. The sad part about it too is society still acts like stuff needs to be done to rise women up to the same level as men in order to be equal. When in fact more needs to be done for men in order to achieve equality.
In terms of equally in nature, no. If they were equal in nature there would be no opposite sex and men would be having babies and periods. And men would be gorgeous like women and therefor no more hypergamy either.
On the other hand, when it comes to legality, women have the upper hand advantage.
Depends on what you mean in equality. Men and women are biologically different , they both have their strength and weaknesses. nature gave them different roles , but it doesn't mean that one should be above the other. We are not living in the middle ages , we no longer need the idea of ''females in the kitchen , males in the battlefield''.
NO, some have more wealth, others work longer hours, other have family obligations that absorb their capital, some are smarter than others, some were born empoverished. Others live in societies where the rules that govern how you live are different. Some have horrible partners.
In certain circumstances gender equality isn’t the best. But in most situations I feel like people are bettering in equalizing men and women little by little. Although we will never truly be at eye to eye level.
Asking the question are men and women equal is causing more of a problem cause its asking a question that doesn't matter this generation men and women are equal but its obvious your always gonna have guys that are dicks but then again some woman think woman should be better than man but that's a small percentage of woman it's ironic to assume just cause one guy think woman are less means all guy think less woman are less
In theory I guess people SHOULD be equal, doesn't matter if you differentiate them by gender or whatever, but in reality I really doubt that will happen anytime soon. Also there can't be full equality since a lot of people are complete idiots and they can never be equal with others. I don'r know if that's very objective but in my opinion it's the truth that's hard as steel, but sure, you can believe them velvet lies if you like. Lol whatever
Well if you're talking in biological terms, then no, they are not equal. Males are the stronger sex and on average also the smarter sex. However, by law they are equal to males.
Ever heard of yin yang? Humans are the smartest of all... But when this smartness becomes a burden we become fools... we use phones, animals don't.. we buy chocolates and food, animals dont... we measure, animals dont.. we compare, animals dont...#cozweRhumans... light can't be appriciated without dark!!
No, we are not equal. But we must be equal. Now there are female supremacist, feminist governments in everywhere include Turkey. Women are priviliged. This matriarchik culture must end. We must support men's rights to achieve equality.
Two very deep and different questions! 1. No. Men and women will never be "equal" because we're not made that way. 2. Justice and equality are very different things, but both are often referred to with the same term: fairness.
I believe we are equal, just different. We get treated differently because we think and act differently, but I don't believe anyone is really treated better

No, and i don't think they should be, we're different for a reason.. this does NOT mean we can't all be treated respectfully.
Nah, they are more like yin yang.

by the way.. thanks a lot... i wasn't able to tell this philosophy to anyone IRL
we are not equal obviously but we have advantages in different areas and disadvantages in others
I would like to think that one day we will be, right now I think as a society at least in the U. S. we are still trying to figure that balance out
Yes in every way, except for eyes of the law & workplace to make a few.
No they aren't the same thing at all
equality: the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, and opportunities
Justice: just Behavior or treatment

They are created to be equal, their differences are the reason why they are made for each other to unite as whole.
Technically men and woman are not equal due to evolutionary evolvement, however rights for men and woman should be the same...
If you mean social equality as in having opportunities to work, own a house, vote, etc then yes.
If you mean universal equality, then no way.
Some laws favor women
How are we equal
I believe we are equal, just different. We get treated differently because we think and act differently, but I don't believe anyone is really treated better
