They are not and never will be. Equality doesn't exist in nature as equality would cause everything to be destroyed as it does in human society. Nothing in nature is equal as it would destroy the purpose of having two different sexes in animal species.

Are Mice and predatory birds equal? No they aren't. Both have their part in nature and both have ways to survive or evade each other. If they ever would be equal they would destroy each other. Nature has an Imbalance which is needed in order for nature and humans to function.

A society that wants equality is one that's going to die out. We should simply use the natural tools we got and use them for the best of society. Men are natural inventors and protectors, and women are care takers and know what children need.

Equality is damaging us and is going to be the end of western civilization. What will in the end destroy us is the sexual freedom women and men have.

No human is ever equal in the sense of all the same due to different traits and in general we are a species with sexual characteristics that separate us with male and female.

That being said I think in most ways we are equal in most developed countries for the most part.

Don’t get me wrong I think on a practical level though nothing will ever be super equal due to average personal and cultural choices along with differences in general in what men and women may choose to go into like fields of work or lifestyle choices that are more appealing to men or women.

Just an opinion though not claiming my response is gospel just as a friendly heads up if people feel about the situation.

It depends what you mean by equal and how much tolerence.

We are equal under the law and that is it. Beyond that, circumstances, chance, preferences, genetics, birth, and other factors separate everyone. Sex is one of those dividers.

Even though I am an athletic female, I could not stand my ground against even an average guy. But, I could also probably still get away with a few things by crying a few tears.

Guys don't deal with childbirth but don't get the joys of motherhood.

No. They are not equal. Instead, they are complimentary. They fit together like a lock and key. Of course, they both should have equal opportunities.

By law and humanity I hope so. physically we are different, however, we both feel the same amount of different emotions, we both have a heart and soul, we both can bleed red. Being physically different shouldn't mean less respect to one another.

Men and women, on average, are quite dfferent in physical attributes and of course they are not equal when measured on those qualities. However, men and women are afforded equal rights under the law.

Are we equal? We should be. Are we treated equally? We should be.
Everything is defined by your frame of reference. If you're looking at who on average has the better levels of muscle mass, that's women. But if you're looking at which would do better in a group survival situation. That would be women (far more likely to work together) pain tolerance - women crush men in this catagory. Likely hood to attempt suicide. Yay women. Chances of successful suicide. Yay men. The scores are all over the board and easily skewed in either gender's favor. Personally, a generic woman's life is worth slightly more than a generic man's life. In part because I'm straight, in part because the life expectancy is higher for women.

Too many factors to consider, we all should be equal, but I'm sort of an anomaly so my opinion doesn't really matter herez especially since I'm considered above average in damn near everything I try, feel like the god of loneliness

We can't exactly do equal actions the same way or as good as each other (men are better in jobs working with their hands, women are more emotionally inclined etc) but we should all be treated with the same respect

There are key differences between men and women, like in terms of how we’re biologically hardwired to think.

Men are obviously more workers fighters and leaders. Whereas women are designed to be more nurturing I guess you could say.

The definition that focuses on size implies the answer is "no" and of course the answer IS no if you focus on specific things, for example, men and women are not equal in strength (in general not talking about any specific people).

There are a lot of differences with things like that, it is almost like comparing apples and oranges.

But as far as total value, yes I think the two are equal.

The fact that men gave women ''equality'' is the fact that they are not and never will be equal.

Men will be naturally better and good at some things while women will be naturally good and better at other things.

It is so much ridiculuous that we argue about this even in this age. Yes we are equal and we should have equal rights. Men or women we are humans in the end and we have the same NEEDS, RIGHTS, FEELINGS. Social norms and pressures just make it difficult to live.

Other species of animals don't debate this.

Male bonobos don't destroy female bonobo babies or use them for sex or prevent them from participating in the community.

humans are WEAK for obsessing over differences when there are far more similarities.
