Eggs vs sperm. Both males and females are somewhat objectified by our instinctual standards. Men are reduced to human doings; women are reduced to baby makers.

It's, essentially, our animal nature. Which rules us, even if no one wants to think it does. Neuroscience has already shown that the frontal lobe's main purpose is simply to rationalize baser instincts from the amygdala. Instinct rules us. We are capable of using that frontal lobe to a much greater capacity than we do, though. We *can* transcend the animal within us.

Males sacrifice by doing. Whether that be battle, protection, digging trenches, innovating, etc. This is where male social value is obtained. Otherwise, males have 0 social value. It must be proved that ones life is valuable.

The female role is sacrifice. Females sacrifice via pregnancy. i. e. we could all die from our roles.

The difference is attribution of value. Since females are profoundly important to the growth of a population, that makes females--by extension--profoundly important. Why? When we have 7 billion people clogging up the works, here? Because our instincts aren't aware of this. Our instincts believe humans are on the verge of extinction, at somewhere around 100,000 total humans. Our instincts are 20,000 years behind.

This is the same reason that you aren't allowed to hunt female deer or female mudcrabs when their population starts dropping too much. The females are innately important to the species--hence, they have guaranteed value.

Eggs are finite, sperm is infinite. And if you have an infinite amount of something, it becomes extremely low value. So who gives a fuck if some random guy is being a bitch? We already have plenty of sperm, and he isn't making a good case for his being worth survival. We need strong, fit offspring. Not worthless crybabies who can't even fix themselves, let alone contribute to society.

That's the reality people try to ignore. But I think it's important to know. And I wouldn't change it. Well, I would if I could change a lot of other things: like getting rid of periods and making humans stop killing each other so much. But the world we exist in is not a nice place, despite all the fancy wrapping we have managed to put on it. The unfit die. So. Don't be unfit. Men receive less sympathy, because they need to be strong. It is necessary.

I'm actually a very sensitive guy myself. Easy to manipulate and worsen my self esteem. And yeah it's sad. And all is due to patriarchy itself. The victims of patriarchy is both men and women. Patriacrhy is cancer. If you think about it, patriarchy is what caused misogony and misandrist, and sometimes i can't even blame the misandrists.

But well yeah, both men and women need love and nurture. Se people as emotional beings, and you will get taken care of too. So it's a win win situation.

Because we are nicer eye candy and possibly instinct. Most women get into a higher pitch of voice when upset. Honestly I would figure this would trigger a similar response to an upset child (which is also high pitched). This is just from my point of view though. I know not all people exactly care about upset children. Men don't get high pitched like women and children. They get loud, which makes every woman I know instantly go into some sort of mini freakout. Honestly I hate when men yell (when angry) it causes me to instantly freeze up and have a mini panic attack.

I think there are few reasons. On average, Women are more sympathetic than men... probably has to do with estrogen. On average, men tend to be less empathetic than women are (I am just stating facts). However, I believe when it comes to biological predisposition (In others words, if that woman happens to be attractive) they can become more sympathetic women.

I also think it has do with motherly attachment. You know when you see an elderly women, or man and that person reminds you of your own grandmother, or grandfather? Something similar to that.

because we are biologically wired for it and our current society pushes it. Women have more neotenous biological traits, basically traits that are held over from childhood that make people more protective of them. The reason this is, is because women dictate the speed of reproduction, they are the ones who nurse the children as well so if she is injured while pregnant the child is lost, if she dies after the child is born but is still breastfeeding (historically it was about two years on average) the baby dies. So we are wired to be more protective of women because of this (if you want consider this scenario, you have ten men and ten women, if nine men die you can still get ten offspring, if however nine women die instead you can only get one). This also caused men to develop characteristics that imply he is capable (bigger stronger, more define bone structure of the face etc) because she would look for a man who could protect her. The reason being that you cannot see a man and a woman as equal, if you did you would not be able to run to safety while leaving the man to die, you wouldn't be able to expect the man to risk his life for you, to stay behind on a sinking ship while you flee to safety, nor would you be able to have him fight in wars that will almost certainly end in his death or sever physical and mental trauma. Society has just magnified this affect with the feminist movement that exploited this lack of empathy for men (which despite how unfair it may be is still necessary to some degree) for their own personal gain. That's why its important that we acknowledge this difference so we don't end up going to extreme with it and refusing to acknowledge that men can be victims (and women can be victimizers).

Because women, more often than not, appear weaker to men and men are regarded as more powerful.

How many female serial killers, arsonists, rapists, or cases of domestic abuse where the female is the abuser do you hear about? I bet very little. Society generally doesn't believe a woman did something violent. But because of this men seem more dangerous. Women are more likely to be sympathized with because of this.

You generally hear "A man should never hit a woman!" This makes the man sound powerful and the woman fragile. Of course, you would have more sympathy for a woman than a man, in this case.

Want to take a bet who's held more power in political history? Men... they appear powerful again! And so they appear to have less reason to deserve any sympathy, if they're so powerful.

Guess who is generally subservient to who in religion? Women are usually subservient to men across many Holy Books. Why would society feel the need to sympathize with men when women appear powerless?

Guess who naturally grows more muscle biologically? Men. Again, men appear powerful and less deserving of sympathy, while women appear powerless and more deserving of it.

This list can go on and on. Point being, we've unintentionally made ourselves believe men are more powerful and women are weak in our everyday dialogue, news reporting, religious practices, etc. Because of all this, our subconscious mind tend to sympathize more for a woman because we can't help but feel like a woman is powerless in most situations, regardless of whether or not that is something we actually believe.

Gynocentrism and misandry, many societies put more emphasis on women’s issues than on men’s issues while also painting all men as barbarians who can’t control themselves.

Men are treated as expendable, which is why men are expected to “take one for the team”. Men who speak out against this tend to get shamed and told to deal with. Men aren’t even allowed to be themselves around women, they are told to watch what they say around women. Most men who’ve suffered sex abuse are too scared to come forward because they are of afraid of how they’ll be treated.

It's natural instinct. In pre-historic times, men needed to protect women, so as humans, we evolved a natural tendency for empathy towards female members of our herd. Even though our modern society doesn't make that protection necessary in the same way, the natural instinct is still there.
