YES! About a dozen in a single night. And that will probably be my favorite night until I see a better sky in future. July 7th, 2018, the night I'll never forget, I was in Nubra Valley. I was on vacation there. That was the first time in my life I saw an insanely clear sky. Unfortunately I couldn't travel with my telescope. I even saw something that resembled a meteorite at one point that night but I'm not sure because there was no news about it in the following days. Maybe it came super close to the ground but burned out before touching it. I'd give anything to have the sky as clear as that where I live, or maybe go live somewhere with a sky that beautiful. 😃😃

Living in the desert I see multiple ones every night. Usually just the quick streaks that last 1 - 2 secs. but every now and again you get one that's not on a sharp angle and the burn up is slower and very pronounced. Those last about 4 - 7 sec.
Yes, quite a few times, I love it. There is just something kind of magical about watching shooting stars! One of my husband and my favorite nights out, is to go four wheeling to a very remote location that ends up in the middle of a high meadow. We inflate the air bed in the back of the truck, zip the sleeping bags together and lay there watching the meteor showers (usually August). It's a cheap date, but it's just him and me together! We talk, we watch the shooting stars, sometimes we're just quiet, we're together! Romantical!!
I have not, and it honestly kinda pisses me off. I've seen Northern lights, but I haven't seen a fricking shooting star.

Yes I was in 2 meteor showers, on the first one I was at the beach with friends at night and we found out that there was a meteor shower that day, and the second one was about 2 months ago where my family and I actually went to a special event to observe the meteor shower, and there were also some telescopes with guides.
yup and it was the at the end of a perfect night too... my friends and i have a tradition where we all get together and have a bonfire party... i saw the shooting star while we were all around the fire, just talking and making s'mores!
Yes! More than a dozen in a single night! The news had said there would be a meteor shower so we went to the city’s outskirts to see them where there wouldn’t be any light pollution. Each time one would pass anyone who saw it would scream XD
Depends on who was the Star shooting at? :P
I was eighteen when I saw one when my sister and I were returning out of town to see Prince in Dallas Tx- 1988. It was the most beautiful thing I saw while she was driving. I wasn' t paying attention, until my sister stephanie mention about the shooting star.
Yes, many, many times! They can happen any time of the year, but I've always found best time of year to see them most consistently is in September and October. 🙂
Yes! 🤩😍 They are more visible in New Mexico on the mountains.
And also somewhere up north by Wyoming and South Dakota and also somewhere on Washington state in the western area 😀Shooting stars are just space debris falling to Earth... Nothing special considering Earth gets hit by roughly a hundred tons of space debris everyday.
Yes, on 24th of December 2017.
And you know what I wished for. To always love my boyfriend, and to always be together... who I'm currently falling out of love with.Yes - while I was on vacation in Cuba during the Christmas Holidays - it was beautiful! way better than the images you see on t. v.
Yes when I was about ten it was neat, however never trust anyone again damn wish never came true still waiting. So see what fairy tails does to children.
Yeah several times at different times of my life , Arizona is a good place at night to them all the time but one time about 17 years ago there was really close meteor shower that was incredible to watch from here on Long Island that lasted 24 hours
Just last night actually, interesting timing to see this question. Don't even remember last time before that.
Every years I look at the gemini-shower mid December and the perseiden shower in July... with the right place and no light from a city arround 50+ per hour
Yes. Many of them. Its easy to spot them in August. But I've never made a wish.
Yes. Many. Here in August there is a good meteor shower.
When you don't see shooting stars you'll spot satellites.Yup. I hike on the AT a lot, you get plenty of night's with clear skies and tons of shooting stars
Yep only a few though, like three. Once I stayed up to watch a meteor shower. That was cool too.
I don't think I have in person but I have in movies :)
