I am not asking only about the sexual posts or posts in which they shouldn't engage. I have seen teens acting like teens with adults. Using words like retard for no reason, acting passive agressive, getting defensive when someone shares a different opinion and being disrespectful with other people. I think maybe this isn't a place for really young people. In real life you wouldn't see a 16 year old engaging in a conversation with a 50 year old on some of the topics on this site.

As far as your update goes.. yes I e seen that... HOWEVER, this site was mainly created for guy and girlsmto understand each other and learn what things to do or not do in reference to dating and such... whch then takes me to the next thing! Most people who start dating are around 13ish or so, and THEY are the ones who are most confused and need more advice! It kinda annoys me when people think anybody under 18 is not qualified to be aware with things. I’ve seen Many many many young that have so much maturity and intelligence that their age shouldn’t be in question.
Older people can be just as immature or uneducated. And young people can be just as mature and smart as anyone over 18. But I do respect your opinion with seeing people acting immature. I think you've got it completely wrong. This is exactly the place where the young and the old belong together, chatting and getting to know one another. This should be a very friendly place while also being very open and honest. Some of these kids have some serious questions, serious to them at least. They are young and have no real life experience. If they have a question that's really bothering them, one which you or I or someone even older can readily answer, why should age restrictions stand in the way of that? Christ, how I wish something like this existed when I was a kid!

And I think your comment of not seeing a young person engaging with an older person in real life is the exact reason why we shouldn't restrict the ages. Maybe 15 & up a restriction were in place. Sexual activity happens at those young ages and finding a safe place to have difficult questions answered is soooo crucial to healthy development The onus is on the adults to be respectful, truthful and considerate.

Children lack advice often because they can’t get it from their parents, or care givers.
I see it as a responsibility to develop their ideals on HEALTHY early relationships, MILD sex advice, and healthy self image.
As a teen I was not taught much of anything. I was too young to know I was abused on the lighter end of it, and controlled. No one help me, or said anything.

I think under 16 should be unable to interact with anyone 18 or over but I do think 16 is ok because there are 16 year olds with driver's licenses and there are some politically conscious 16-18 year olds so if they want to talk politics or about real life issues it is ok as long as no crime is taking place on this site.

But I think that people under 18, some are sexual active and they are not oblivious about that. It is just a site for getting advice, it is not a meet up site and there is no explicit pornographic material. They can use these forums to ask about different matters such as contraceptives, advice on kissing, orgasm, bj, hand job, and the emotions and questions that comes with it about relationships, saying no, keeping boundaries, saying yes to the right one, etc. I am not talking baout the 13 year olds here of course but like 15-18.
