Is marriage just purchasing dishwasher, cook, washing machine all at once?

not these days, as a man you get the traditional disadvantage of having to pay for every shit but in return you get nothing. yay marriage... while women don't have to stick to "patriarchic" standards, while keeping the tradition that they don't have to do shit as he will feed her (cause you know if he doesn't or can't, he's a loser). they have the option to study and have a career now, so they could and should pay for dates and marriage and pay for a 50% share of the household expenses but that would of course be misogynistic to claim and doing the traditional housework is even more misogynistic so scratch that.
so you purchase the right to legally stay around a woman as much as she likes, never get to fuck her except she wants to and you get to treat her to everything... so just like dating but even more expensive.
American machines are faulty and expensive. You get all functions- cooking, washing dishes, laundry, baby making etc in machines here along with cashback in form of dowry.
lol maybe that's how it was in the 50s. nowadays all you get is a siren that will yell at your ears at all times and do nothing xD
We still get that deal here tho.
good for men where you live then :D here, marrying a woman is like purchasing the exclusive rights to use a cock sleeve, with the downside that this cock sleeve has a will and won't let you fuck it whenever you want to xD everything else like washing, cooking and so on you gotta do yourself.
No. Those things are much cheaper than a wife lol
American machines are faulty these days. It isn't true for India, you even get a cashback amount in form of dowry, along with dishwashing, clothes washing, cooking and baby making machine.
Yes I here your paying long after your machine has walked out with the kids
Even if machine makes their own money through job?
Yeah. Alimony, child support and mortgage payments.
Eighteen years, eighteen years
She got one of your kids, got you for eighteen years
I know somebody payin' child support for one of his kids
His baby mama car and crib is bigger than his
You will see him on TV any given Sunday
Win the Super Bowl and drive off in a Hyundai
She was supposed to buy your shorty Tyco with your money
She went to the doctor, got lipo with your money
She walkin' around lookin' like Michael with your money
Shoulda got that insured, Geico for your money
If you ain't no punk
Holla, "We want prenup! We want prenup!" (Yeah!)
It's somethin' that you need to have
‘Cause when she leave yo' ass, she gon' leave with half
Eighteen years, eighteen years
And on the 18th birthday he found out it wasn't his?
Here AFAIK depends on case by case basis. However child support is mandatory.
Lol, no dishwasher for me, I specifically dont want one. I LIKE doing dishes making sure they are clean. Washing machine is very useful to own when having family to raise, saves a lot of time and monies to own one. Marriage isn't a bad thing as you portrayed it to be. Family is wonderful to have. I am a great cook and a baker. Its awesome to grow family in marriage because that is stability for everyone who is involved in the family.
Marriage is about building together for the good of the family you bring to this world.
It is great for tax purpose, join accounts etc but only once you manage to work on an identical vision of peace and love in your home

I want a babymakin' cleanin', cookin' , and dishwasherin' woman! She can feel free to grab me a beer once in a while too, all she is doing is sitting at home all day with the kids, it's the least she can do. I'm at my desk all day playing solitaire on the computer, that's hard work! Daddy needs a stereotype and messed up gender roles relationship! It's the American way! Lmao! :)
As well as masturbation tool. Don't forget that. In rare occasions, an extra bank account LOL.
Sorry, just going with the overall theme here.
I agree with you , don't need to be sorry 🤣
LOL sounds like you're in it. Or this is how you see it. Since you have a good understanding. ;)
That is funny, only in so much as when I was married I would hardly let her near the stove. Not even that she was a bad cook, but I prefer to cook when given the opportunity, Dishes were basically whoever ended up doing them before bed, unless I was working late in which case she did them. As for children that was a crash course in new things for me
Yea and no

I cook, my husband does the dishes and we both do laundry. All of those things are just part of being an adult... you have to do them whether you're married or not 🙄
In some societies, yes. Even in some modern Western style societies women, wives, are seen as mere chattels.
My attitude and belief is that chores shared leaves more time for both to enjoy together, and doesn't cause resentment.
no. unless you follow very strict traditional gender constructs. certainly not the case in my marriage or about 99% of the marriages i know of
No. It's also a dryer, housecleaner, babysitter, schedule planner, and oh ya, they're a person too! One of the best things you can buy today-- although you do need a license to purchase. 👍
Baby making is supposed to be the fun part. Unless you cheated and started that already.
Come on, getting ready hot food, getting your clothes, dishes, house cleaned spotless without you having to lift a finger isn't fun?
It WOULD save the cost of hiring a cleaner :)
If that's all you have to offer then you're pretty much obsolete. Upgrade yourself.
Nope
I don't need that
I just need someone to share with everything
It is simple
No, it's mainly about communication and compromises.
Marriage is betting half of everything and possibly years of your life on the belief that the other person will keep a promise.
No marriage should be sharing the responsibilities.
Well I hate this perception..
It's very rural and sounds vicious and merciless..
Telling someone your washing machine will fit x number of kids will def get you locked up. 😅
thnx for the wonderful contributions to memes men gang
I wouldn't expect that. I want an equal, not a slave. Save that for role playing in the bed room.

Not if you marry the right person.
For Some, Hun... BREAD MAKER. lolxxoo

This is exactly what marriage is in the Arab world
