those people likely got married too young or didn't think it through that much or suck at communicating their problems. if you want to marry, then marry. but be mature and know what you're getting into for the rest of your life. then it should turn out just fine.
none of this "it's not worth it" stuff. what does that even mean? is anything worth it? if it's something you want, then yeah you make it worth it. if you don't think it's worth it, then just stay in a relationship only. marriage is a piece of paper and 2 rings... we can delve deeper than that and say it's an enmeshment of two lives, yeah, but at the end of the day, it's still a relationship. just the government is now involved.
No one has ever said that marriage is an easy ride... Marriage actually takes hard work, in fact it can be bloody hard work... However, if you keep Communicating, Committing and Compromising you will reap the overpowering benefits.
Do you date? Dating couples break up every day.
Marriage means as much as you and your partner will build together. Choose a bad partner and it will fail. Choose a good partner, have realistic expectations, and be willing to work and you can make it last?
PS The right guy for you is not necessarily the guy who is the center of attention, who lives an exciting life, or who has the biggest paycheck.

It's not worth it for MOST people. Few people today are capable of a LIFETIME commitment. And if that is not your intent going in, you shouldn't even be considering marriage.
But I do know it is still possible because my mother and father were married for 33 years until my father's death. And I have 4 sisters, all of whom are married, all of whom have stayed married. And not for a short periods either. One for 30 years until her death, one for 39 years so far, one for 31 years so far, and one for 20 years so far.
Marriage is dead and woman killed it. 1/3rd of marriages end in divorce, 70% of the time the divorce is initiated on the womans end and the man gets screwed out of half his shit for life when the woman deserves nothing of his in most cases. If woman didn't get to take half a man's life with them when they walked out the number of happy divorced woman would shrink to the single digits.
"is there nothing sacred anymore?"
Marriage is only sacred for those thinking it is sacred lol. Thank god, we have invented secular marriage. The value of marriage isn't decided by you or me anyway, thank god (x2), it is decided by each people marrying instead.
Somewhere, beyond the rainbow, there might be girls who want to marry for life.
The problem is that we can't tell them apart from the girls who divorce us at median length of 8 years after her 1.8 children are in elementary school.
The problem is marriage is worth it to girls because there is a big bonus for them at divorce.
If it is for life why do people divorce as long as there is no cheating or actual abuse?
If someone chooses to unilaterally break the contract why are they rewarded with alimony?
If someone destroys the contract and union by committing adultery why are they rewarded with alimony?
If there are childtren how is 50/50 joint custody not the law?
The concept of marriage itself to me is sacred because it means picking a partner to share the rest of your life with, good and bad times. The divorce laws however don't make it worth it and make it dangerous. Especially with how easy people are willing to break it nowadays.
It is 1000% worth it. Nowadays, practically everyone I know is contentedly married.
Additionally, the divorce nonsense is completely ridiculous. The divorce rate is actually down if you bother to do the research.
You are right. In view of the ease with which people can divorce why marry in the first place. Most people are average and they marry because it is herd behaviour. They think that something is good because everybody does. I'm for cohabitation. Simple.
Most people are too degenerate for something as sacred and respectful as marriage. It is evident. And these people treat marriage as if it was a piece of paper that you can throw in the bin once you're fed up of it.
that's a very subjective question primarily i think Legal Marriage is about how it benefit's ya secondary is do ya really wanna do that meanin is it a feelin or is it the reality of what ya wanna do with the understandin of the risk from a beneficial perspective i'm a have to say it's not worth it since Legal Marriage is the chat Legal Marriage ain't really worth the hustle currently
Each marriage is only as valuable as the two people involved in it. So for marriage quality people, it is worth it. For people who are beneath marriage value, it is not worth it.
Marriage is not perfect but nothing is perfect. Many individuals do not take it seriously or they do not understand that it is not like they show it on TV. It takes hard work and sacrifice to make a successful marriage.
Is marriage "worth it" nowadays? Marriage between who and who? It's totally dependent on the 2 people. Unfortunately there is no law against idiots and assholes getting married.
In my opinion, no, it isn't worth it. Men today receive zero benefit in a marriage and carry the majority of risk.
I think marriage works only for people with patience. the early phase seems charming but when the novelty of romance wears off, the battle of responsibilities begins. Kids, work, health issues.. the cycle repeats. Marriage gets doomed.
Marriage is a legal contract that has advantages and disadvantages. One disadvantage is that it's not so easy to get out of it.
Yes, it’s worth it for most people. People who divorce multiple times bring the overall average. So many are lonely now in their 40s. Others are raising a family and have the good life.
I think if u love each other u don't really need to be married
People just rush into things today. Or they ignore red flags and marry anyway. I believe it is still worth it.
I think the Devil has done a good job screwing up marriage.
Love happens, it also fades. more divorces means we can choose.
Yeah i wonder who is to blame
https://www.youtube.com/embed/EMxIPvCddQIUnfortunately our society has degraded. The only way to turn the ship back the right way is to get married and fight for your marriage.
Get off your fake pink account dude. You're not fooling anyone.
If you don't want kids, no. Then marriage is a trap.
Under current laws and with current attitudes in my age group, no.
It's not worth it to you because men aren't interested in you. This is your way of trying to compensate for being rejected
If you find the right one. Otherwise, no, especially for men.
its a waste of time and money. Many of them are unhappy.
Yes, it’s worth it but it is much harder to find a good person to marry.
Nice incel bait.
Get off your fake pink account.
Yes.. it makes me very happy 🥰
