Is marriage and relationships worth it anymore?

Do women even really love men? They initiate 80% of divorces. Because they win and can take everything valuable off the man.

Then they find a new guy overnight.
Marriage was worth it for my parents, but they grew up in the era of arranged marriages. My mum’s an angel she’s tuff and dealt with my dad’s shit.

Women of today are the opposite, they just leave because they don’t love you to begin with. Men are replaceable unless they are ultra successful.

You need to think of this from the woman's point of view.
Why should a woman sacrifice her happiness during her one life for a man willing to put her through shit? Many women are happier alone. They're raised by society to marry, try their best, realise the husband will forever put them through shit, decide they want to be happy in life and leave.

If you think a good woman is one that puts up with shit, don't bother getting married. Your wife will leave you everytime. In the 1960s women were able to have their own bank accounts and get loans for the first time. It's the point of highest rates of divorces.

Historically women had to stay married to men because they didn't have equal rights to buy a house for example. Now a woman can do that without you. There is no reason to put up with any man's shit.

The only woman that may stay with you is a drug addict. who needs you to go to work to buy drugs so they can spend the day high as a kite.

The problem with people getting married nowadays is that it happens too soon. In The Bachelorette or The Bachelor, a proposal is expected at the end of it. They haven't even been dating for a year, and most of that was spent dating multiple other people as well. Most people are looking for a proposal within two years.
Despite the fact that my parents have probably one of the best marriages ever (they've never fought), they got married after dating for 7 years. They waited, and although they didn't need to, it allowed them to be sure that they were 100% comfortable getting married.
I have been dating my girlfriend for almost 4.5 years. I told her at the beginning that I would not propse until she's lived with me for a year and we've been dating for at least 3 years. I amended the year thing because mainly I wanted to see how I adapted to some of her bad days when she's not 100% and doesn't want to do anything. Since I walk my dog twice a day (barring inclement weather), I do things every day. Since I've seen her like this and I don't have an issue with it, I am 100% fine with her bad days. So I don't need the year thing, plus with the time she's spent over here (every break she gets), it will have added up to a year before the end of summer.

I know I am from a different generation, but marriage is definitely worth it. I am not saying it is easy, but worth it.


I met my wife in high school. We became sexually active, she got pregnant, and we got married at 16 and 17 in 1972 and celebrated our 50th this year.


So why is it worth it? It forces you to take a hard look at yourself. It forces you to make major changes to become emotionally healthy…and that is hard! Getting married so young, if we didn’t grow, get counseling, and realize that the relationship is each of our responsibilities, we never would have made it. I would not be the person i am today!


I get to live with my best friend…and…the sex is awesome! I would not change anything!

Women are the reason brothers fall apart in later life, because sister in laws hate each other.

happiness and relationship satisfaction is within one's control. if you're relying on your partner to make you happy as is the case for many women, then it's no it's not your partner's fault. it's your fault.

the divorce stats show that the majority of divorced women don't really have what it takes to tough it out through hard times like men do. men can learn to love his woman and be contempt with what he has in life otherwise he'll just be labeled as insecure. for women it's different and many have no clue of what a truly committed relationship is. yes it would include going through the hard times too.
