Are boyfriend/girlfriend relationships/marriage even worth it these days?

Sometimes I feel like whats the point these days. Its hard to find a good partner because there's so many temptation from social media and I feel its easier for people to cheat which is sad. Mostly everyone I know is with someone and not happy but they don't want to be alone. I also know way too many people who are divorced because they either got cheated on or dont like each other anymore. I always hear these terrible stories about someone getting divorced and losing their house, etc. And having to start all over again. I always get told "don't get married save yourself from trouble".

I think it is worth it, but I think people need to stop accepting certain behaviors especially social media behaviors in their relationship. If a man is liking other womens pics while being in a relationship , X him out as a partner vice versa. If a man prioritizes social media over you then x him out as a partner vice versa. People need to stop going into relationships with low expectations and standards and hold their partner accountable or just leave them.

Its really hard because almost everyone has social media and they can do things behind your back especially when you least expect it :(

So far from my experience? Barely.

It's worth it to feel that bit of hope that they are actually going to stay with you, to feel like that they are going to screw you every day for the rest of your life.

And that honeymoon period you get a small bit of the romantic dream realized before it sinks into murky waters and drowns.

For women yes. It's heaven on earth. For men not at all. Men get nothing out of it. And if you have a problem with cheating then start slut shaming your fellow women and their buffet of penises they enjoy at every given chance. But of course you will never do that.
