How would you react if you see an actual dead body in real life for the first time?

I saw this one time or almost saw it. I was talking to a friend at the library next to the gym and while at the mall we saw a dead body on the shopping mall floor. Somebody had had a heart attack while buying groceries and was lying flat upside down on the floor. I asked my friend to stand in front of me to block me view of the dead body because I thought the site was disturbing and he was nice enough to honour my request.

i was 9-10 when I seen the aftermath a very bad car wreak with dead bodies and blood and probably brains. There was a bit of shock and then I was pretty numb and emotionless. This is kind of my reaction when it comes to death. Whenever I found about the death of someone close I got numb then it took me quite a bit to feel sadness but it was definitely an intense painful sadness each time.

Did you know there are over 200 bodies of climbers on Mt Everest? Some you have to step over to continue your climb on some of the routes. There’s one area called the Rainbow Valley because there’s so many and named for the colorful climbing jackets some are still wearing. I've seen dead bodies many times before, I just move on. It used to fuck me up mentally, but I won't say I got used to it, but it just started bothering me less and less since there's nothing I can do but hope they catch whoever did it.

I have seen a body before, but it was my grandmother and she had been embalmed for her funeral. I cried a lot and this was years ago.

i grew up around grandpas mortuary and worked there for a few years so I've seen thousands of bodies... there the same a regular people... except their dead
