Accidentally got face toner in my eye?

So really just started using toner like a week ago but this time I accidentally got some in my eye. I looksd it up and it said it can cause infection? I dont know why but i didn't wash it off with tap water for at least 15 minutes (based on what i read- its what i shouldve done) but instead i just put eye drops could this work too? Should i go to an eye doctor
