Anyone know how to get rid of this horrible discoloration on my eyelids?

You may not realize it but there is a genetic component to dark circles and the discoloration you mentioned is likely genetic do there is not much you can do. Have you tried warm compresses over your eyes to help clear out those capillaries around your eyes? That might help. Other than that makeup.

No one from my mother's family has it. As for my farthers, I don't really know them as well but some of mother's family have mentioned they had the same thing. So I have thought about that before. I'm still willing to do something though. I really really hate them. I dont have many issues about my face, it's pretty much just this one thing.

I don't know if it looks like it in the picture but I dont actually any visible capillaries showing around my eyes.

No. It kind of started slow and became more noticeable overtime

Okay, we've ruled out trauma. Are you getting enough sleep? Have you tried cold compresses? Getting too much sun? Short of using cosmetics to hide the problem, you might want to consult a dermatologist.

Probably not getting enough sleep. But I still don't know if it's because of that for sure. I haven't tried any cold compresses apart from cucumber from the fridge once. Didn't stick to the routine. Right now I'm using The Ordinary's caffeine solution which is meant to help minimise dark circles and discoloration.

That's true I probably should see one. Never thought of it tbh

And I live in a cold climate so it's very unlikely to be too much sun

I get dark circles due to lack of sleep. Cold compresses work well for me.

I hope your issue clears up and you don't have to resort to using make-up to conceal the issue. Get plenty of sleep and use cold compresses when you can. By the way, you have beautiful eyes.

I'll definitely start to apply cold compresses more on a daily.
