I guess everyone is still growing up. I pin 'fully grown' on 25. But i see that age as relatively functional. Compared to 14 ir 9 hahaha. They are quite smart but inexperienced
Technically speaking while you may be physically grown by the age of 17, 18, or 19, your brain is still developing. It doesn't stop developing till around mid twenties

Absolutely, in my opinion you do a huge amount of growing up in your twenties as well. I'm 25 and I still have a ways to go
I don’t know why the legal age of being an adult is 18 & you need be 21 to drink here in USA?

Vietnam war drafted 18 year olds back when the age of adulthood was 21. People sayed that if they were old enough to fight, they were old enough to vote, and so the age went to 18, except for drinking. Many states changed it to 18 years ago, but then changed it back after the rise of drunk driving fatalties of 18-21 year olds.
You are only free, not entirely but if you are earning your own money and can live and pay all your bills, you will not be 19. Simply because your parents are paying gives you only limited rights. All my children knew while daddy paid daddy had the say. All are highly successful now. Age and experience bring unspeakable wisdom, not from a textbook from life itself.
Yes I’m very aware. My mom had that same mentality but we don’t have the best relationship but I can say I’m thankful for her help especially now that I’m done with grad school and starting my career. Compared to other people I know.
I do & they will realize it when they get older. When I was. 19 and in combat leading others through war I thought im all grown up. As i got older I realize how wrong i was. I was a kid put in a man position.& thank God it worked out.
She's a kid, but not child. A lot define chikd differently than kid. To be a child, you gotta be like 14 or under to me. Also, child is a legal term to describe a minor, kid isn't.

Abso-fucking-lutely. That continues into your 20s, as well.
I think 40yos are still growing up.
I think it's arrogant to ever think you're "done."
You can be done with growing up when you're dead.
I still feel like I'm growing up, and I'm turning 24 in less than a month

Absolutely, most people are but especially those of us under 25 I'd say.

Heck, I was just smashed up (I'm ok ) today by a 50-year old who still acts like a kid. I don't think he will ever grow up.
Of course. That’s a tricky time most are going off to college and attempting to find themselves or claim independence

I am 40. Still watching cartoons, Teen Titans Go, Unikitty and others. I've never grown up.
19 year olds are absolute shit now. Look into their eyes and there's nothing there.

I, for one, feel like a child. 🤷🏻♀️
You are a kid, kiddo

I was kidding bro!
@Twenty2 pot calling the kettle black.
@Asker thanks for the clarification. :)
But still, I feel like anything but an adult. 😂
LoL I am all grown up! @Isten
I was the same way
@Twenty2 yeah, and I'm the queen of England 😂
Your majesty, pardon me please if I said something that might have been considered as misappropriate. I was not serious. Thanks your majesty 😜
The brain doesn't fully mature until about 25 or so.
Yes the frontal lobe isn't fully developed at that age.
Yes, they are still young and experiencing a lot of new things.
I don't know, but I am 95 years old and I am still growing up.
Most 18-19 year olds do not live by themselves and have to take the responsibility of playing for everything they need so yes
Yes, I but some are moisture at 15. Specially girls
