Hmm, I'm going to concentrate on UK sitcoms, Porridge was set in a prison so I'm not having that, Father Ted was on Craggy Island that kinda looked a nice place to live, Only Fools & Horses was set in London (far too many Cockneys for that to be acceptable), Gavin & Stacey was set in Wales/Essex-hmmm rather not live there, The (UK) office was set in Slough-too much effort to move there. Last of the Summer Wine was filmed in my next village along from me -literally a 5 minute drive away-so whilst it's a rubbish sitcom and one I don't watch, I'd choose that , mainly because it would cut down on the commuting!
