Well, this happened to my Captain. On certain ships even cruise line ships, they have a toilet system called VCHT (Vacuum Collection Holding Transfer) and sometimes the pipes get clogged. One method to unclog it is to push pressurized air throughout the system into the holding tanks. The technicians are supposed to isolate or close the pipes going up to the toilets. Well, let's say one of my guys forgot to isolate the toilet in the Captain's cabin. The resulting shot of air found its way to his toilet and emptied all the clogged fecal stuff and literally poop was everywhere.
