When you are so used to be seeing looking a certain way, it can be intimidating to do something that will make you look very different, and be in front of others. It's a little like a girl wearing a skimpy bikini for the first time, and having difficulty leaving the locker room. Sometimes they don't leave the locker room because it too intimidating. Same with wearing, or not wearing glasses, when you've been so used to doing the opposite for years. Maybe try not wearing them in places where nobody knows you, to get used to it. Then slowly work into where you might be see, etc. When actually going to where you know you will be seen, take the glasses off for a moment, and slowly increase the time. And don't wear them around close friends and relatives. You can tell them you are intimidated by the big change, and need a little help.

You should get a pair that complement your face and style. So many styles out there. Treat it like an accessory not a horrid thing you're forced to wear. You can ask your friends or a stylist at the store.
i use O. K lenses too, at first it was weird for me to start not wearing glasses but honestly you should feel more confident!
It will take time. Just try not wearing them for short periods of time until you feel comfortable
