Why are talkative people annoying?

It's your personality but it gets annoying when u shame other people who dont wanna talk 24 7. Like just not talking 24 7 is considered quiet, like I take being called quiet a insult. It just annoys me. I dont understand how u have something to say every second like what the hell. I dont even consider myself really quiet, I talk when there's a chance to talk, like the normal person but I'm not gonna say some random shit.

there was this one girl at my basic training who would never shut the fuck up. she was really dumb (go figure) and her opinions on things were always controversial. plus she was really mean, self centered, self important, egotistical... seeems like that may have been the erason that she always talked in the first place... hmmm...

Some people like to hear their own voice. I honestly am not a chatterbox. I like to listen and I involve myself when things are interesting. Those who talk too much can be annoying because sometimes they really have nothing to say.
