Thats a bit unusual don't think I have heard of anyone getting naked to poop I wouldn't advise to do this in a public restroom as people have been known to hide a camera in there to record people

It's not really necessary. Just drop your pants and undies and you're good to go. Your shirt, bra, shoes won't get in the way.

I only shit naked if I bring a bodysuit, in a McDonald's bathroom I have had to shit with a bodysuit, it is not the best experience and since I don't have a bra you can imagine how I am in the bathroom, I only pull my clothes down to my legs for the rest Above my body is naked.
The ultimate win is taking a poo just prior to showering... the ultimate fail is taking a poo, showering, drying then realizing you have to poo again...

No, no one else but animals do that because it isn't necessary and can't be supported by any of the virtues found in humankind, like logic, reasoning, and decision making.
I do not get completely naked but I generally do feel a pretty strong urge to take off my shirt while taking a dump at home. It's pretty much reflex for me.
To be honest sometimes i have done that. You don't have to worry about your clothes getting poop or pee on them. And if the toilet over flows hopefully your clothes are safe. So it's not that weird.
I do sometimes, but because I'm wearing a romper style dress, but I only pull it down to my knees and don't wear it when I go out to avoid exposing myself in a public bathroom.
