I don't date interracially, so therefore I would not condone that type of behavior. So how do you feel about interracial dating, and what is your race?I'm white, and if my kids started to date outside of the race..basically I would be very very angry. yes that would be how you kill me.

hmm I understand you. Unfortunately a lot of your responses are simply insults to you rather than answers to your question. And I agree there does exist double standards for white people; however, realize that not everyone of other races are exploiting this double standard.

I am an Asian dating a white/latina girl. My mom would prefer me to date within really my culture not simply asian; but it is also only a preference that leaves me with the flexibility to make my own decision. I would like to continue my blood and respect her wishes, but at the same time, I am really conflicted between that and my personal wishes of love regardless of "race". So bear in mind what you will create when you impose your wish upon your children.

I want to ask you: Are you more concerned with how your family will look like on the outside (appearances) or are you trying to preserve your culture(whatever white culture is assuming you're from the US)..?

If my kids are in their teens, probably not...because they wouldn't be allowed to date anyway before they turn 18. Should that day arrive, I would only advise them before doing so. They should at that time be mature enough to decide for themselves.

In all honesty, it does not matter, I am afro Carribean. I have family members of every shade, some cousins look white, some look Asian and some look Indian.
