well after an argument with my roommate, what would u rather have?
for guys, its fun living with a female, we all prefer seeing a lady in pj than a guy in boxers lol and she'd probably clean more and might even cook some (mine doesn't lol)
but a guy can be ur best bud and u can have fun with more and be more open with.

for girls a girl roommate can be ur best friend, but whos gonna fix stuff, bring stuff, carry, wash dishes, all thatttt. and girls fight more with each other lol

I don't have a preference. But you've made some very stereotypical assumptions. I. e girls clean more than guys, that's not always true. Boys do all the fixing of things etc. I actually do that in my household as my dad taught me basics of building etc. I live with a boy currently, but my twin sister is moving in soon and I'm very excited

I feel like guys want girl roommates to ogle at and in the hopes of something sexual happening. Which is a dream and most likely won't happen, they'll just be looking for a place to live, not a "friend with benefits" situation

true, and sleeping with ur roommate is the worst idea! i know it was very streotypical , my side in the argument was that the person comes first, she wanted a girl cause girls want girls roommates for stuff guys do fo.. i wanted to understand that!

I honestly do not care. As long as someone is an open-minded and kind person, I'm sure they'll be a fine roommate. I appreciate honesty, compromise and communication in any gender.
