A girl can be good looking and if she smokes - well I don't see it in myself to pursue a "serious" relationship with her. Maybe something casual but not serious.

Yeah I get that smoking is unhealthy. Bad enough that there are other things in our environments that perpetuate an unhealthy lifestyle (ie plenty of fast foods available, candies, beer etc).
Personally I don't like seeing a girl smoke. But if she does, all power to her. I wouldn't go for someone like her. This is because it already tells me that she does not give a shit about her health. I don't date chimneys because I myself am not one.

I am repulsed by smokers. The smell that lingers long after their last puff is awful. You cannot escape it. I even hate getting behind a smoker at a stop light and they are puffing away. We have a hospital organization here and they will not hire any medical professionals who have ever previously or currently smoke. So, all the dried up nurses go to the "other" facilities to work. Several years ago I had to have an upper endoscopy and my nurse I swear was Juneau "My Caseworker" from Beetlejuice. I thought I was definitely going to hell.
I kind of have a thing for smokers, for some reason they are super attractive to me and I love the smell. I probably just have some weird ass daddy issues cuz my dad smokes so it reminds me of childhood and comforts me😬

As a former Smoker I have no issues about dating a smoker. It takes a lot to quit.
@Daejana I had been getting ready to quit for a few years prior but I kept pushing it off. I think two days into coughing I just said "F it I'll just quit now!" Sick and angry wasn't fun but I went day by day after that point. I tell myself I just gotta get to 2 weeks then 21 days then a month, etc. I wanted to smoke soo much! But in my mind I'd tell myself "You've already gone this long... what's wrong with a little longer." Cut to a year later and I still wanna smoke but I know it won't be the same. Plus I'd start coughing again and I really don't want that!
I'm glad yo were able to quit also! I regret that I made my ex-wife quit smoking. She liked to smoke even though she had that nasty smoker's cough/hack. I came early one day and she came out of our bedroom of which we had a half bathroom in there. I went in the bathroom and smelled cigarette smoke. I think she thought I was a control freak. We finally divorced over her infidelity and I later learned that she started smoking again. I'm a firm believer that you should never try to change anyone, especially if you hooked up with them in spite of their bad habits.
100% that has always been an absolute turn off for me. I've known women who I thought seemed like some pretty swell, healthy, conscientious women, just to later on see them smoking outside on their lunchbreak, on social media, etc. Makes my heart sink every time.
my niece Kim smokes and I hate her doing this too ! for she can get cancer from this and die ! we will not allow her to smoke in my house either so she has to do it out in my drive way or not at all ! I heard from my sister Joyce , ( Kim's mom ) that Kim's smoking caught Kim's kitchen on fire too ! so dumb of Kim to smoke and burn her kitchen too ! Thanks
It's extremely unattractive, and honestly I'm allergic to smoke in general so being around it gives me a migraine and makes me just all around sick for days..

Yes, I'm ex smoker, smoking or vaping brings no benefit to user and looks laughable to me not even talk about being old-fashioned.
All this, helps with stress other mythical benefits, like helps with weight lose is just stupid excuse, to damage your body.

No, I find it very attractive especially if they are consuming the right smoke. If they smoke cigarettes they’ll need to brush their teeth for at least 1 hour before we kiss. But if they smoke cannabis we will get along just fine.

@winterfox10 Taking a hit or two from a joint 'occasionally', as I said, is VERY different from smoking multiple cigarettes a day, inhaling the smoke time after time, which is horrible for her health, always being saturated in that nasty smell, her clothes, car and furniture smelling disgusting.

I prefer it. As a smoker of 22 years it just makes things easier if she smokes. I've quit before and am use to the smell and taste so even when I quit it doesn't matter to me if she smokes.
