Before Michael Jordan, Nike was nothing. In the 90s, someone decided to make an awful cologne and slap Jordan's name on it. Initial sales were... through the roof, (😉) but the smell caught up with it. Their marketing campaign was pretty good though. They used a silhouette of MJ's head. Research showed that 86% of the world's population knew who's head silhouette it was. Michael Jordan is as nearly well known as Jesus. He accomplished that without the benefit of the internet. Let him answer your question...
"I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. Twenty six times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."— Michael Jordan

Never trying, for sure!
Failure is a normal and expected part of any path to success, and failure can teach you some of the most important lessons (and you tend to learn those lessons well if you had to fail to learn them!).
If you don't try, and don't take any risk, then there is never any possibility of success or reward. Sure, there's no failure either, but HAVING some failures does not make YOU a failure. Quitting, or not even trying in the first place, is what makes you a failure.
Never trying. Failing indicates you at least tried and had a chance at succeeding. Never trying guarantees absolute failure.
Never trying because you're stuck on what if and it torments you

I'd say it depends on the person's goal, their method of reaching it, what they view as a "failure," whether or not they're making progress, and if it's actually attainable and beneficial for them. So it can vary depending on the situation.
Never trying is way worse.
You'll never get from A to B.
But you will get through a lot and fail each time. Then learn from your failure.
In the process you will find the importance of managing risk, making small progress and avoiding pitfalls for the next time.
Ask anyone who made great accomplishments in their life. People see them as going from A to B from the outside, while they know they failed and got disappointed many times in the process.
Appart from the missed learning and accomplishment you will end up full of remorse in many years... 'I should have tried...'
Just to quote Yoda 'Do or do not. There is no try.'Failure doesn't exist. When you walk up a flight of stairs you don't call each stair failure do you? Failures are just stepping stones. You have to fail to succeed. You have to fail to succeed. Success has multiple parts. People understand this. The only way you fail is if you give up. You really think if you keep trying your best and learning and learning you won't succeed. Never trying is so pathetic. Most people never try. But yet we praise the ones that do try and wish we were them or were as brave as them.
The only things you should EVER be afraid of is doubt and distraction. I've never seen anybody murder as many people.I don't care what it is in this world your trying to do but if you want to do it do it and let's say you become very good at it ,,, do you stop at a stand still because your good or do you understand that there is always something you can do to j as some even better but if you never try I say that's when you fail
Never trying is far worse than failing.
You get used to failing, and it hurts less, but more importantly: there is much that can be learned from failure.
There is nothing to learn from never trying. No improvements can be made. If you never try, you never get better and will be stuck at wherever forever.Never trying. I can tell you that you will never regret the fact you failed at something (even if you regret other things about the situation), because you always have your answer to the question "what if?" Not trying is so much worse because the fact you don't really know what would have happened will eat at you.
As someone who has failed in his whole life, I’d say failing is worse than never trying. I wish I’d never tried those stuff I’ve been doing, it only brought shame to my life now no matter how hard I tried.
Never trying because if you don’t even try there’s a 100% chance you‘ll fail. But if you try you might be able to do it plus you gain a lot of experience.
Definitely never trying.
When you're older and looking back on your life you're going to be a lot more upset about things you didn't do rather than things you did do.Never trying... because failing is not really failing , its actually gathering information and learning from what did not work before. Failing helps you grow as long as you don't give up.
Failure is learning. If you're not trying, you're not learning. Sure, you're safe, but can you be safe forever?
If you learn, that usually IS forever. You never forget that.Failure is the greatest teacher you could ever have. If you never try, how will you know if you can do something or not? How can you succeed in life if you never try stuff?
Never trying (I know because this is my biggest character flaw, I end up not trying for fear of failing which means that I failed already).
It depends on what we're talking about. Normally i'd say never trying is worse. But there are some battle that just can't be won and you were doomed from the start.
Failing. In today's day and age, trying more times than any just leads to let-downs.
I'd say never trying is worse. If you fail then you've at least learned something.
Never trying... failing teaches you not to do it again and how to improve... if you never tried then you have never crawled, walked or ran
If you never try you can never succeed.
So never trying is worse than failing in my book.Never trying is worse because if you fail you can learn from it, but if you never try you will never know what you are capable of or what could have been.
Highly depends. Most of my regrets came from me never going a different direction. Not asking girls out earlier, not moving out after graduation, not seeking a career in web development and not graphic design, etc.
