Why do some people get mad/annoyed when you give them a taste of their own?

So usually when you give people a taste of their own medicine & they get mad at this, it’s because giving people a taste of their own medicine makes them come to realization of what they did to the other person feels like. Overall they are embarrassed of their actions, and tend to turn that into anger to hide their embarrassment or pity.

They do it to hide their feeling of guilt if they realize it. Otherwise, it's just another thing that hurt them. People don't often realize that tables can be turned.
