Do you get upset with people that waste food you bought them?

My friend helped me out last weekend, so took her out for dinner Friday as a thank you.. She ordered extra food her meal didn't come with, and proceeded to just waste it,(not even just the extra but the food her order came with) no event try to take it home as left overs, just left it to get thrown out... I did feel slightly irritated, like I work hard for my money to see it just get wasted🤷🏼‍♀️

Sometimes a person's eyes 👀 are bigger than their stomach. This might be the case. From my personal experience, I have problems with food and digestion issues. I get full very fast. It only takes about 6 bites to feel full sometimes.
I do understand that she wasted your hard earned money, but you probably have a normal gastro system. For me, food is my enemy. I feel like I just ate a Thanksgiving dinner most of the time.
Maybe she just didn't want to tell you she has a bad stomach? 🤷🏼‍♀️

But then take it home, 🤷🏼‍♀️ or if know have those issues, don't order extra. It's one thing to not be able to eat whole meal. I get a duck dinner sometimes on Sundays, and it's usually too much to eat in one sitting, but I take it as left overs and get another meal out of it.
And it's one thing to waste your own money... Versus someone else's whether they can really afford it or not...

Oh yes.

If I took hours to write something and it was discarded... sure it will bother me.

But nothing bothers me more than wasted food.

I have trained myself to eat food I don't like even, healthy or whatever, at least eat the majority... as long as it is not harmful.

I'll never buy her food again. If she asks I'll try to explain to her without blame thay it makes me sad to see food wasted and I can't stand it.

I sometime have a small appetite but I will definitely save food for later... but i general u know myself... I know for sure things I WILL NOT enjoy. And avoid it... or better safe than sorry is my rule.

Im not afraid to eat while doing something else , in order to finish something at a later time but early enough, before it spoils.

My sister's ex married some crazy chic with a kid, and the kid always orders the most expensive thing on the menu and barely eats any of it, and that idiot allows it because he is afraid to be alone. I can't comprehend why anyone would do that.

That never happens that I've seen, at least for me... cause I'd take the left overs home myself... I have a dog who loves to eat stuff and thus it is never wasted.

I do hate it though when someone, who your paying for buys a bunch of extra stuff on the pretense they just wanted to try it all.

It almost sometimes makes you want to excuse yourself for the restroom and not come back, leave them with the bill.

In general I hate seeing food get wasted. I also can't stand those box games on youtube where you press a button and then they pour so much food and drinks on you. I've seen buckets of flour, jugs of milk, cereal boxes, soda bottles, honey etc. I can't even watch them because it makes me sick to the core.

Our parents never used to eat cheese so every year when my dad’s co worker bought him cheese for New Years, he would throw it out without eating it, one year he ate the cheese and it was the best thing he ever tasted and we never threw out the cheese again, but she was fired within 3 years so we never had access to that cheese again, one thing that this taught me is to give things a try before you throw them out of your mind.

No, I don't do that because I don't like it when people do that to me and I know I won't be able to eat it all and then they whine about it but never listen to me needing smaller amounts. Needless stress situations, so no food gifts from me unless I know you are crazy about it.
