I feel the same way, I have at least a handful for friends that never fail, if you have something grabable they will take it and it irritates me that they will buy bird food aka little items off the menu and instead of buying a full meal that they enjoy themselves, they pick off of other people's plates or grab other people's stuff like fries 😠
I think part of it might have to do with their view that we should all be sharing and teaching to share through that practice. But it might just be that they like to embrace the moment and have a mind change based on what they want. But either way the practice still drives me nuts 🙄

I agree. I hate it! Like its one thing if its family style and people get equal portions in the first 1-2 portions.
But if I'm at a restaurant and I offer people some of my sides, I don't expect them to take like half of it. And I sure as hell don't expect people to take without asking for my permission. Awful manners.
I don’t like people doing this as I find it to be extremely rude. I don’t know what goes through a persons mind when they do this.
My dads done this to me once before. I had cut the fat off of my steak as I wanted to eat it last but he took it off my plate and ate it. I was furious.
I guess because they are too comfortable. It is weird a bit lol like only time I’d be okay with it is if me and my bestfriend so it quite often and then like idc anymore but yeaa I don't know it can be rude lol

Now you can relate to being a guy a little bit.
When I first started dating, and I would order food, girls would often say "no, I don't want anything" which, it turns out, was code for "I just want to eat YOUR fries and drink YOUR soda or steal the pepperoni off of YOUR slice of pizza." Or, "no, I don't want popcorn" and then she proceeded to eat 4/5ths of mine. I soon made it a policy to order the girl food anyway, or at least up-size MY order.Sampling and sharing food can be a method of establishing connection and unity. I have a big family and we do it all the time. When I was deployed we'd get together and share food. Eating together is a social event.
wow. why u getting so much hate from weird guys about this? And I don't know why we do it. My brother and I both will do it to each other because we find it funny in some circumstances ( you'd have to be there), but we would never do it to other people because it can definitely be thought of as disrespectful.
It could a form of flirting - - - -
It could be that someone wants to taste a new food - - -
It could be a random way of starting a conversation, even if would be a bad one - - -
It could someone is starving to death - - -
Or, it could be that they were never taught good manners.I don't like this either. If someone did it I would be upset. If they repeatedly did it I would count it as disrespectful after I had asked them not to
I don't snitch. I share. And I only share with friends. I didn't use to take lunch in college so I'd eat my friend's lunch. Same is the case with water too. If they don't give then I beg them in a friendly manner. If they still don't give, I make sure to never ask them again. It's not that I can't buy canteen food and eat. It's just I find it good to eat together. So unless and until I am managing my calories and am on a strict diet, I love eating with/from my friends' lunch.
Rule is simple:
Take my food and , mu clories fo in your body and my fork goes in the back of your hand.
I don't do that haha But it's funny, I didn't know it was a problem haha
You would prefer they piss on you instead, to show dominance?
They are usually testing to see how far you're willing to go.Snitch or snatch? Personally, I’ve never had such happen to me, nor did it to someone else. Yeah, it’s rude as can be.
You are right. I prefer good manners as well. If you want something just ask i have no problem sharing.
thats disrespectful, i dont have anyone that does that tho
Honestly I don't like that either and if anybody does that to me I don't have a problem with letting them know it. That's rude and unsanitary
Taking food from someone's else's plate is so female. Men don't do this shit.
Wow! We're just alike I don't like it either I'm very picky about what I eat and I don't want someone's else's fingers in my plate
It’s bad manners in my opinion.
NO Manners... I hate it
They only thinking of themselves lol
