Maybe not a happiness kind of scent, but good used leather jacket with a bit of cigarette smoke. That was the smell my dad's jacket had when I was real young and i still instantly recognize it. He moved a couple hundred miles away when I was about 6 or 7.

Failing that, a floral shampoo or good fabric softener.

@Bluemax my wife and I are kinda separated right now but she calls me several times a day we've been together for almost 30 years and the first like 25 were what movies are made of all our friends wanted what we had my homeboys literally brought their old ladies to my house so she could learn how to act but they didn't understand it wasn't something that could be forced it was true and pure. Things changed and I was fixing to file for divorce but my wife got deathly sick the week I was gonna file and almost died then went to stay with her family for whatever reason. It's been it's been about 7 months and we still talk every day usually several times a day. I still love my wife and even though I think there's too much water under the bridge especially since she won't admit to anything so it makes me believe the only reason she is sorry is because she sick and if she was to get better she would probably go back to her ways. But I won't leave her to go through this by herself she's to good of a person to have to be going through this especially alone which because she so sick and fucking coronavirus she is basically alone if she could come home I would love as I always have even not knowing what our future might be she's always going to have my heart she's my friend and even if she gets better and we divorce she'll always be my friend and I'd give my life for hers in a heartbeat it's not fare that nobody is doing anything for so many people because of coronavirus my wife is basically paralyzed and has gone from looking healthy to her thighs being about the size of my forearms in a few months and basically blind now and in pain every day and she is being ignored because she hasn't been fully diagnosed yet and Corona. Sorry for venting but if I don't vent I'm going to snap and I can't

Probably roses because it’s nature and life and it really humbled you to sit back and just observe nature in harmony with its surroundings. I guess that’s where the phrase “just smell the roses” comes from.

And clean bedsheets and pillows after having a warm bath. Sadly it reminds me of my online girlfriend who was catfishing me. As I unintentionally attached that calming feeling with her, I was always with her on my phone, all I could feel was that cozy, warm feeling. I felt it was her and she was with me. Now it makes me to miss her and it makes me to hate myself for trusting her.

No, I don't think you're weak. I think its understandable to still be somewhat affected by the whole incident. You emotionally invested yourself in a relationship, only to, later on, find out, that it was fake. It's not easy to get over someone, even if they were just a made-up character.
