I didn't know she had a boyfriend until today. We're in high school. I don't think her boyfriend attends our school. She never mentions him or anything. But today she posted a status relating to her boyfriend on her Facebook. We're Facebook friends.

The fact that you are crushing on somebody who is already in a relationship, says enough. Expect for most people to have premarital sex and do things outside of marriage your not comfortable with. All you can do is be glad you found out and now it gives you the ability to move on. You are not obligated to date or be with her after she made her sexual choices. Wait until marriage and find somebody who equally shares your values. That's the beauty of being single. You get to find all of this out before agreeing to date somebody.

And this is why you need to control your feelings and emotions. Its one thing to be attracted to a person, you can't always control that. But a crush is a decision you personally make for yourself. If this girl is not a friend of yours personally, and NOT Facebook friends, she is still a stranger. You don't know much about her face-to-face to make that judgment because you created a fantasy of her that doesn't meet the reality. If she doesn't mention him or anything, then it sounds like it is not a good relationship out of good intent. He could be much older and not in high school.

We go to the same high school and we ARE friends on Facebook. I do know her personally. She's in my class. It's summer vacation, now though. I was about to message her on Facebook, but then I found out she has a boyfriend.

When we were in class together, she would partner up with me to do assignments. I did get to know her. I was about to make the next move.

Because if she was really your friend, she would have told you she was dating somebody. That would be the first thing anybody who is excited about dating their partner would do. If she hid it, that's not normal.

We've been friends for 2 years. I met her 2 years ago, in class, when the teacher paired us up for a group project. We mostly talk about "have you done your homework?" or "was that test easy?" etc. We never talked about anything that deep, like relationships.

And you like a person you don't know anything about other than surface level stuff that makes you friends? This is why you talk about this LONG ago. Not 2 years. Because if you wait too long this is what happens. She already established you as a friend and nothing more. If you just now developed these feelings, you have to remember something, she is still as young as you are. If she is sleeping with her boyfriend sexually, there is nothing you can do. It's already done, and she made her choice. Take it as a red flag and be glad it wasn't you. Because trust me, it won't last anyway with her. And she's in her own little world, one where your not in it as that guy. You need to be with somebody who shares your morals. And it has to be clear you two do not share that in common.

She is SLEEPING with her boyfriend. You move on! Done. It's finish. Her being funny and gorgeous have 0 to do with dating. That should not be too logical reason for you to like her. Because now you finding out other things that is not good for you. The moment you found out you should have moved on.

Get over it and move on. This happens to everyone, and you need to accept the fact that just because you like someone does not obligate them to like you back. It's wonderful when that happens, but more often than not, it doesn't. Disappointment is part of life, but you accept it and keep moving forward.

The worst part is that she posted a meme. It said, "Me on my way to annoy my boyfriend." And she commented, "Everyday." So she goes to his house everyday. God, I don't know what else to say. But I'll try to move on. I was just about to message her and see if I can get her number, too.
