Client trying to get me fired?

I dated this guy at work. We broke up and now he is dating one of my clients. I did not know about this. Then suddenly he confronted me about being mean to his new girlfriend. I told him I did not even know who he is dating. Then the next day new girlfriend tried getting me fired telling my boss I was rude to her because she’s dating my ex boyfriend. She completely exposed my relationship with my coworker to my boss. It was very embarrassing. I come to find out who the girl is. The last time she came in she complimented my eyelashes and I treated her like all the other clients.. I am not rude to anyone. She was telling my boss lies about me when I did not even know they were dating until after the fact. She called my work one day (I saw the caller ID) I answered as usual she didn’t say anything so I kept saying hello? No reply and she hungup. Then claimed I hungup on her... What should I do about this? I’m debating on getting a new job but that’s exactly what she wants. I think next time she comes in I will be extra nice to her and if she makes up another lie about me I will tell my boss to watch the cameras. He said he will fire me if I do it again but I did not even do anything in the first place. Is she just jealous? I don’t even know how she knew I dated him... Her and I have never spoke personally. She forced him to delete me off all social media and now my boss and my coworker have a problem with me. I don’t get this!!

They all are men, they most likely pissed of you didn't have sex with them or find you unprofessional to work with now, I wouldn't do that stuff it was a job I liked it's not good is it?

Yea it's why people don't have relationship with coworkers this happens to you, it's up to you to decide if you want job or relationship with someone there. You will most likely need to find another job as you'd not get much respect from people there now no matter if your good or not.

as a business owner, I think it would be a great perspective. My family is telling me to get a new job but I think my boss would see that as me being guilty of something when I am not

have no clue, you don't want a firing on your record, however, you might be able to sue them, because they would have to prove their case.

Usually it's men who go through this- a women doing her nasty work and a male not being able to prove he's innocent.
She wants you gone and you won't be able to prove otherwise.
You'll have to record conversations with her. Buy a small digital recorder. Small slim, with an one press record button. They cost about $100. Expensive, I know, but it's a necessary tool. Every time you see her number click it on and hold it up to the phone ear piece- you can do that casually without attracting attention.
Every time she or your ex talks to you click that thing on. Just keep it on your desk and click it when needed. When you are backed into a corner you'll have evidence you're being played.

no it’s difficult i feel if i don’t say anything she will tell my manager her story first and it will look like i’m hiding something but if i tell my manager first it will seem i’m causing a problem and it’s effecting me

Just be polite as you can because of the situation. Cameras will see you're in the clear. But I'd look for a different job if you can
