Guy I like told me his mother molested him?

He told me that growing up his mom tried to have sex with him and I don’t know how to react to this. I just feel heartbroken for him. I told him I’m so sorry for what happened to him. I knew something had happened in his family but I didn’t know something like that happened and I noticed it seems his family disowns him and has zero pictures of him on social media. I don’t know how to help someone who’s been through this. How can I help him? He says he’s ok now and he is 10 years older than me. He’s 38 and I’m 28.

I'm not sure if there's really anything you can do for him besides be there for him if he needs to talk about it. Just support him and make sure he knows that you're there for him.
