Can normal girl guy friends travel together?

So I'm seeing this girl, and we've known each other for 5 or so months. Things are going well when we see each other or go out, but we're not in a committed relationship yet.

We spend most weekends together; however, there are weekends where she goes traveling with her guy-travel buddy who she knew back in HS (10 years ago), so definately much more than I know her. This bothers me I and don't think she's ready for a serious relationship. So my questions are:

1) Am I reading into too much, and can normal friends of opposite genre travel together?

2) I really like this girl, but am getting weird vibes due to this traveling biz, what can I do?

You don't have an issue until you are in a committed relationship with her. Then you have the right to know what's going on and the right to go on these trips if you choose.

Until then it's really none of your business anyway.

To answer your questions:

1) Yes you are - because there is no issue at this point in time.

2) Either tell her you want to commit, leave her, or continue as you are now.

But doesn't it show that she disregards my feelings thus not interested in starting a committed relationship? I was really about to tell her I want to commit that day until she told me about her trip.

I think in a way he is like family to her. She wouldn't stop you from going on journeys with friends so you shouldn't stop her. It's fine. You are reading too much into it.

Thanks for the response - Thing is, if I'm seriously dating a girl and interested in her; I wouldn't go out traveling with another one at all...? Maybe she's just not interested?

Yeah but maybe she wants to know you're interested first, And also don't forget the female mind is slightly different to the male, So she might not think there's any harm in her going travelling.
