i prefer old, not only do they have some older model reliable cars but some things are just easier, for example if you left your keys in the car and its locked, you can pick it and no need to waste like 150 dollars on a lock smith, not to mention some look better than the new models, thats my opinion tho π€·π½ββοΈπ
I like newer cars that are built to be driven rather than just being four wheels, a frame, and a bunch of bullsh*t gadgets that I don't care about. To that end, I would rather drive an old coupe than a newer car, where most of the value seems to be dumped into the center console.
In terms of handling, I've always preferred sports coupes/sedans over just about everything else as everyday driving cars.
Since you mentioned keys as an example, a lot of cars now offer or even require a phone app to unlock them. Personally I HATE this "feature" especially as a requirement, but it's something that, like backup cameras, will probably become a standard feature in new cars in the near future.
I like both, I'm not a fan of classic muscle cars but I like old cars like;Dream car 2001 Subaru ImprezaI like new cars cause these days all you have to do is buy a tune and it'll go vroom vroom. They're definitely more capable and comfortable now as well.
Depends. I think good drivers at least have one or two classics they like. Iβd like to buy a 1970 Stingray Corvette one day. I also like a 1970 Dodge Challenger. I like some of the newer suvs. I noticed the ones I like are usually those custom made vehicles or ones that are limited editions/the company is only ever going to make a few thousand. A lot of newer vehicles are so boxy and donβt have any design features youβd care about keeping the car for.
then if you think you are ready to drive in romania you are severely deluded lol... its easy to drive in florida but romanians drive like madmen on roads that are narrower than your sidewalk
Cars are totally over-engineered these days. There is a fucking computer for everything from the auto windows to the radio. The internal combustion engine hasn't changed that much over the years so all of these features just squeeze a few extra MPG but with greater expense and complexity.

there are a few nice newer cars to me, like 15 years older at least.. I love the older cars. classic cars!
i have been in classic car restoration for nearly 40 years... i still drive a relatively new mercedes as a daily though... my classics tend to be weekend cars
I inherited a vintage 1970 mustang from my grandfather. I love it but it always needs a lot of work and its become more my Dad's car, gear box is always going bust. I'm more of a BMW guy anyway.
all new cars look the same to me. there's nothing that says that "this is my car" about them. i personally own something that i think characterizes me in vehicle form
If I leave my keys in my new truck the doors won't lock. You can push the button but before you close the door it unlocks if the keys are in the vehicle..
Older. But by that I mean 90's. They're just better technically. But there are good cars of every year, I just dislike electric steering. Analogue power steering is way better.
